Evan Fondor replys to Ellisa

Ellisa Sweetie,

I speak only for the Social Graces column. Other issues you should take up with the editor, but I am sure your aware of that.

We are all public figures, and our words subject to analysis and interpretation once they are tacked on the various boards. I am sure your aware of that also.

Charlie is by word and action both a vocal and focal public figure. The things she does and the words she speaks are listened to by many. We encourage all public figures to dress according to their station.

Respectfully,

Evan Fondor

Gnort,

At least I do not pretend to be anything but opinionated. I do not, with one breath, say let us all be nice, and with the next speak ill.

Ellisa

P.s. I did not speak ill of writing skills, only of an apparent deception. Perhaps you should review my words to discern the proper thrust of my previous posts.

I wasn't going to respond to this because it's just too stupid but sometimes I can't resist taking an easy shot.

"The things she does and the words she speaks are listened to by many. We encourage all public figures to dress according to their station."

Are there people out there who really listen to me? If so, you are an idiot. There are very few things that come out of my mouth that are serious. Nobody should listen to me.

My clothing is hardly "men's clothes". I have yet to see Dae, Var, Seamus, or G make an appearance in the Arena wearing hiphuggers, tight leather pants, short skirts, tank tops, or halter tops.

If you are upset by my clothing because it's "too revealing", that's your own problem. My husband doesn't mind how I dress. His opinion is the only that I care about.

My "station" is that of a caller. I do not dress that differently from any of the other female callers. I probably dress a bit more revealing than Ria and Ayly but not that much. Have you ever tried dueling in a corset and gown? I'm guessing you probably haven't so you wouldn't know how ridiculous that is.

This newspaper seems to bash the same group of people (G, Ayly, Ellisa, myself) while promoting another group (Strallen, Daryl, Ariadne). Is there a reason for that? Is this newspaper that biased?

I wore a tank top and skirt once, But I was really, really drunk and didn't have a clue it was happening. Then there was the time Evan cast that stupid spell that he couldn't change me back.. but that's a longer story.

As for the biased newspaper..

Yep, sure is. Course, I bring his bashing of me on myself, it's fun that way. :)

The really scary thing, Charlie, is that G was very believeable as a woman. Of course, I have to admit, I enjoyed that whole period of magical error very much.

Only funnier looking. But when it comes to absolute humor...

I slay them all...

Or else.

Master Evan Fondor

By your advice then, sirrah, Master Sneggle shouldst be decked out in nappies, and Mistress Wilder shouldst be a'wearing a jester's cap, whilst the editor of that laughable thing called the Rhydin Times shouldst be a'wearing a Dunce cap.

Helpfully,
JNS
