The calling staff of the Duel of Swords would like to congratulate Jeff, the Lord of the Universe, for being awarded the first "Duelist of the Week" award.
Jeff followed his first impressive week in the Arena by going 3-2 over this past weekend with notable wins over both the overlord and Robert. The calling staff was obviously taking his comedic value into consideration when nominating him this week.
Other nominations included: Elle McBride, Taree, Var Medici-Giovanni, and Auritan.
In recognition for his outstanding dueling, Jeff's bar tab for the up coming week will be paid for in full. Congratulations, Lord of the Universe.

"Duelist of the Week" is a new honor being given to one dueler per week. Members of the calling staff nominate a dueler and the dueler with the most votes wins. If there is a tie, the WoL for the week in question is taken into consideration. Each week, the winner's drinks in the Arena will be on the
house.

Thet's funny, I seem tae recall seein' all kinds o' people bein' awarded thet particular award last year an' the year before.

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about.
There has been an up and coming duelist named each week on the standings. This is different. You don't have to be up and coming to win this award. You could be the overlord and have had one awesome weekend.
Well, not you personally since you blew the overlord thing for at least a cycle but you in a general sense.
Plus, we're giving out free booze for a week to the winner so it's better.
Once the word gets out, I'm expecting that Damien will come running.

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about.
