KF has turned the matter of the challenge to the 4th to the Baron's council for debate. After Stormi cleared Karen's response as legal, the two arranged to meet last evening wherein Karen did not show up.
The Baron's council is being asked to investigate not only the situation last night, but also the response that was a mere two minutes after the one week deadline.

Spotting the Overlord's announcement after the notice from Damien's camp, Janella snorted, shook her head and walked by.

Duelists and Spectators:
Here upon this cork is now posted a copy of the letter that I wrote upon the behest of the Lady Karen Wilder, Renegade Baroness of the Fourth. Attached below that is a copy, as best we were able to create, of the Warlord's letter that is referenced there-in.
Copies of all other correspondence on this matter may be obtained from the First Church of RhyDin upon request.

Warlord, Honored Members of the Staff and Council:
A question must be answered. Was the Warlord asked if he wished to reschedule, and did he say yes or no?
If the Warlord was not asked if he wished the Baroness found in forfiet or if he wished to reschedule, then his answer should be found forth-with.
In the historical documents of the sport, this is clearly the way such matters are handled.
In the matter of Jacob Dandy's challenge, he told the caller to have the Baron Tidewater declared forfeit and the matter turned over to the Council.
In the matter of Daegarth Mithmellon's challenge, he told the caller that he would reschedule the match with the Baron Zafiro... and the Council was never involved.
Thus, the Warlord should be asked and his answer obtained before this matter goes any further.
Attached is a copy of a letter the Warlord sent to this august assembly. It would seem to indicate that the Warlord wished the matter sent to the Council, but a more direct answer is called for.
As for the Baroness Wilder herself, she has mostly recovered. She has asked it to be said that, should the matter be sent before the Council, she should be stripped of the Fourth Ring. She knows that her opinion carries no weight in such a vote, but she wishes it known that she would never desire to not be held to the same standards that all other Barons have during her tenure as Baroness.
