Duelist of the Week - Aug 21

The calling staff of the Duel of Swords would like to congratulate G'nort Esplanade G'neesmacher Dragoon Talanador (also known as G, G-string, Gravy Boat, Bartender, and most recently Squirrel) for being awarded this week's "Duelist of the Week".

Despite the fact that G'nort's dueling was not overwhelmingly impressive this week, the voting went heavily in his favor. He went 4-2 this past weekend with wins over previous "Duelist of the Week" winner, Deacon Black, and "Duelist of the Week" nominee, Taree Fae. The callers' voting seems to have been swayed by the infamous G charm.

The only other nomination of the week was a newcomer who simply goes by the name, Bill.

In recognition for his outstanding dueling, G'nort's bar tab for the up coming week will be paid for in full. Patrons should be warned, however, that drinks mixed by G-string have been rumored to cause squirrel-like features and behavior.

Congratulations, G-string!
