::Precisely written in clear, crisp printing, a notice is tacked to the board by the newest female official, after getting some advice from her peers::

This evening, September the Twenty-Third at Nine-Thirty by the Eastern clock, I was privileged to witness and call for the Overlord's Challenge between Seamus MacDonnaugh and Cletus Ganderfald. Seamus won the right to challenge in the Warlord's Tourney and the match was fought in a best of three format. Cletus' Lady of Honor was of course his lovely wife Arane; Seamus' second was one Sloth Shaman; he had no lady of honor.

Seamus fought under the colors of mahogany, tan, and forest green, as well as the banner of the former Scots' Pride dueling team.

Cletus took a strong lead early in the first duel, retaining it all the way through to win at a score of five to two in the eighth round.

To start off the second duel, the Scotsman had taken an amount of scotch (what else?) to raise his spirits and stamina. The drink seemed to revitalize him, and he dominated the duel from beginning to end, putting down the attempted comeback of Cletus to win the second match five to two in eight rounds.

The third and final duel began with some amount of tension in the Arena, and the duel was kept tense throughout its ten rounds. Seamus' drink seemed to be getting to him, but since he was, after all, a Scotsman, this merely made him a better duelist. The match was kept close, tied up at three in the eighth round - where the previous bouts had been won - but then Seamus dominated the final two rounds, winning it - and the Overlordship - five to
three in ten!

Baron Var Medici-Giovanni declared his Loyalty to the new Overlord shortly after the challenge. However, alignments from the other Barons are as yet undisclosed.

The Play By Play is as follows:
