:: As he heads home that night he couldnt open his clenched fist, many telling him a simple Honor match would restore his heart and faith in the man who used Errols' naiveity against himself. He wondered who really of his loyal Barons would support the overlord in that feigned tutelage and which ones would see it as Errol now did, as manipulation those many months ago. To ask the young warlord to wait in the guise of helping Errol and then later
treating him as if he knew nothinging made Errol just shudder with resentment. If only a Baron would dethrone the man, if someone could send the throne to a Tournament of Barons, yes then Errol would feel vindicated. He may not be worthy yet of the Crown but wished someone to wrest it from such as who know held it. ::

:: Walking by the arena on the warm afternoon he pauses to look at the boards then tacks up a notice for all to see ::ATTENTION LOYAL BARONS OF DALAMAR AR'DAUMONDespite the Overlords unavailability to meet challenge until after the upcoming warlords tournament I seek to claim a price for his "failing memories" and will hereby tender challenge to a loyal Baron as his representative. Your loyalty brings you the honor of accepting and meeting challenge on his behalf since he is unwilling to come to a mutual consensus of our disagreement. The Overlord has indicated that he will not keep a promise made some months ago and is unwilling to reconcile the matter. He further indicated that should i challenge him, he would allow every opportunity to disrespect me to come forth by his mouth or anothers. I see those who stand loyal to such leadership as protectors of dishonesty. I hereby request a loyal Baron step forward to accept challenge on his behalf. The Overlord has indicated that he will interceed should i proceed with such a challenge. I say to those loyal barons: The question is can "all" of you count on him to keep that promise or not?"Excalibur"

:: Grinning with mischief in his eyes the young Warlord sets forward to announce the match for the public consumption ::The Baron Gnort Dragoon has accepted challenge by myself Errol Faline in the stead of his friend and leige Overlord Dalamar Au'Daumon. Many are aware of my unhappiness and discontent with the Overlord's failure to keep a committment. His past and current schedule has made it impossible to take the matter in challenge to him himself and the Baron Dragoon will stand challenged on his behalf. Should i fail in this challenge i will stand down in my position and return to my homeland with the skills i have developed here. Should i succeed and remove the Baron Dragoon i will consider the vengence fulfilled and no further press the Overlord on this matter. This will occur on Wed Nov 26th at the Eastern hour of 9:30. Details of state forthcoming.:: Marked with a swordstroke ::

Having taken the final strike of teh match, Gnort hadn't seen what happened to his opponent after he finished the bout. As he turned to present teh Barons ring to Errol, he saw that he was struck down by something, and lay barely moving. Gnort stepped to him and looked down, bewildered at what transpired. Errol then looked to Gnort and spoke four words. "Baron Dragoon, Help me." Not knowing what else to do, Gnort reached down with Errols Lady
of Honor and picked him up. Not knowing where to take him, Gnort and several of his friends moved him to the GIT.
From there, Gnort and his wife proceeded to cover his wounds with basic field bandaging, while waiting for the New Baron to be taken to the Medical Center for proper treatment. After he was taken away frm the tavern, Gnort realized he never gave Errol his hard won Barons ring. He decided to hold onto it and present him with his prize at a better time when the new Baron was feeling more healthy.

:: Lying quietly in the Rhydin hospital, young Errol reflects back on the night of the challenge. It had been satisfying to exact vengence upon the Overlord who carried the sword of the same name. Sadly, Errol realized that the night had been severely marred by discontented souls. The pleasant and ever polite Lady Alais was maligned and left early, and the machine gun attack from the hillside robbed both Baron Dragoon and Errol from ending the night
with honor. The Baron had been more than gracious and Errol felt bad such an honorable man paid for his leiges' failed promise. As Errol was taken away, wounded, by the very man who he defeated, Errol realized the calibre of person he had met. Bandaged and later transferred from Mr. Dragoons tavern Errol was safely cared at the hospital. It should be soon that he could go and meet Gnort and thank him for restoring his faith in the nobility of the
Arena. With a quick snort, he thought about the malcontents that could have learned from Mr. Dragoons honor and temperment ::
