This will be my inaugural address to members of the Duel of Swords as Overlord.
About the Test.
I will not use the test. However, do not expect me to roll over and die. I will choose whatever format be it Best of Three or Single Duel to face my opponents that I feel will serve me best.
About Alignments
For the Barons, choose your loyalty based on your own conscience, not on your desire to make challenge. If I am still listed as less than 15 WoL at the next standings the alignment you choose will make no difference if it is the title you seek.
About Challenging for the Title
1) If you feel that my current record in the duels is unbecoming of an Overlord I would remind you that I earned this right be winning a tournament and then successfully challenging the former Overlord. Also, for those of you that are unaware, there is a standings error but in my mind that is irrelevant. I won the challenge match based on my listed rank as GM.
2) For those that feel I should be challenged because I defeated Seamus remember I did not challenge him from peer wins but as a right I exercised as tournament winner. He found me honorable enough so why should you have a problem. Just say you want the title and be done with it.
3) If you don't know me then get to know me rather than make a challenge for that. If after you know me you don't like me then challenge away
4) If you have issue with me state your reasons and make challenge. Don't waste time to concoct an excuse. I will face you honorable challenge or not so why bother demeaning yourself by creating a lame excuse, if you want the crown because you simply want the crown then say it. I have no problems with defending the title in the same manner in which I gained it.
About Whining
Don't bother with it, it will be lost on me and just make you look bad. I won't snivel and cry when my time is over, don't snivel and cry if you can't take what you face.
About Attendance
I travel a fair bit back to my homeworld, I will not be dueling every night, maybe even miss weeks here and there. If you have a problem with that then challenge but I will not change my schedule to meet your expectations.
About Intent
Strallen has stated intent to challenge, intent means nothing, anyone who wants the first shot has to be the first to make challenge after the standings are posted. Anyone else who wants to challenge feel free to give it a shot, otherwise I look forward to my match with Strallen.

Renegade anyway, If I wasn't Loyal to Seamus, I'm not gonna be loyal to you. It's a "Not about you" thing anyway, so don't sweat it.

1)Attitude to others is more important to me than record. I don't think it's necessary to continuously remind us about why you challenged. You weren't the first Grand Master to win the right of challenge to the Overlord in a Warlord Tourney.
2)See above for reminders of why you challenged. As to the "Honorable" thing, You have a need to remember that Honor is different among each individual. Just cause one person will think you honorable doesn't mean others Have to. Respect is Earned not Given, and it's certainly Not a Right. You will do well to remember that.
3)Noone has to get to know you to challenge you. If they want to challenge you because they don't know you, it's their right. Don't make demands. It's unbecoming.
4)Everyone has reasons to make a challenge. While it's respectful to state those reasons, it is Not Required to do so.

Define whining. That statement is confusing. When people lose a challenge and whine about it, it's always made them look bad, and was always lost on people. I don't really think there was a point to you making a statement to it. What is confusing to me is whining before anyone has issued challenge to you. Noone's challenged me, I certainly haven't seen any whining about it, either. What do you mean?

This one, really, is a confusing issue in general, not just to you. Unless one is inactive for an extremely long time while holding a title, there really shouldn't be anyone complaining about a title holder not being around to duel. Everyone has other things to do. I, myself, am lucky if I get in one duel a week. People who duel when I don't, and call me inactive just should shut up, don't you agree?

You say "Intent means nothing." I disagree, for the most part. Someone who formally issues an "Intent to Challenge", while not a binding challenge as yet, is a matter of respect. Not from the Overlord, but from others who would want to Challenge the Overlord. It's an old custom that simply isn't practiced that much any longer. I really don't feel it should mean Nothing.
Again, Don't be so defensive, all right? If you last a while as Overlord, I'm curious to see how you perform. I would hope you would try to do something useful for the Arena, as Seamus has before you.

I don't know you well enough to declare loyalty, and the burden of proof is on you to give me a reason to be loyal. I gain nothing from being loyal to an Overlord, because I don't ask them to step in for me when I challenge. That's why, Overlord Ralez, I wouldn't be expecting a visit from me.
However, don't expect a challenge from me, either. I don't declare myself Renegade because I want the Overlord title. I'm not worthy to be Overlord, besides, I'm happy as being the holder of the ring I believe I have made a legacy.
