:: A page like courier dressed in the crimson purple and metallic emerald colored livery of the Warders of Erailenrhoid approaches public notice corkboard of the Duel of Swords. Where there usually was an insignia to distinguish what service he would normally perform or division of what part of the Warders he belong to stood the logo of the Dragon Blademaster
Dojo. The patch has a crimson purple colored twisting dragon serpent intertwining through a metallic emerald colored symbol of chaos to make the symbol of infinity with the dragon muzzle swallowing its tail at the center of the chaos symbol, while legs protruding out and down from the bottom of the loops of the dragon infinity symbol hold an ivory colored rose stem in its talons, the blooming bud grasped on the left side by a set of talons with stem
tip on the right side grasped by a set of talons, on an ivory colored field banner. The length of the rose stem swirls an inscribed banner down the length of the stem, which reads in a glowing silver cursive flowing script, "Warders of the Dragon." The courier's livery covers a set of what appears to be well made leather armor suited for warriors who preferred the woodlands for their battles, and he is armed simply with a slightly curved long sword
strapped to his back with the hilt showing over his shoulder. The courier is quiet with polite manners and attention to ceremony as appropriate for one of his station to relay his objective and duties. ::
:: What the courier tacked to the cork was a parchment with a steady by not overly flowing script revealed written with a quill in an olive green coloring of non-smudging ink on a creamy thick papyrus like parchment, though very well made compared to any modern age of the realms. It reads as follows: ::
"Baroness Karen Wilder of the Twelfth Ring of Swords,
I, Elijah Basia Uhr, a challenge able qualifying Warlord by virtue of amassed peer victories so attached, do hereby throw down the gauntlet of challenge upon thee for thy right to continue thy holding title of the Twelfth Ring of Swords. By the tenants that govern our beloved sport and by the terms to which we agree to meet do I look forward to the test of honor to hold title within these revered rings. Alas, I have neither comrade nor lady to
stand at my side for this match, though I shall carry my new colors of honor and station proudly to bring glory to myself. If ye have no objections I would like for the recently returned official of the rings, Altara d Poison, to officiate the match.
My reasons for challenge are simple, though probably something you will not like or find favorable, and for that I can only say I worked with what I could for priorities that mattered the most to me with the options available to me. I made a wager with Cassius Maximius in which I lost and the terms of payment were I challenge a baron of his choosing at the earliest chance if I did not succeed at first winning the Sixth Ring of Swords in the
very recent Warlords' Tourney. Obviously, I have lost said tourney and must make good on my word of honor to pay a lost wager. Because of Cassius's allegiance to the current Overlord of Swords, Dalamar Ar'Daumon, and his willingness to work within my preferences among the current available Renegades, you were his preferred choice. Hence, therefore ye are now facing the test to defend thy title as Baroness of the Twelfth Ring of Swords.
I look forward to thy response on this matter and of the making of arrangements to conclude this matter as well. I have sent a copy of this missive to the appropriate officials of the sport, thy fellow title holders of the sport, and posted publicly for the community of the sport as notification of my challenge.
Regards with respect, skill, and honor to the Blade,
Rest in reason, pursue in passion,
Elijah Basia Uhr
Warlord of Swords,
Former Baron of the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Rings of Swords,
Warder Mentor of the Dragon Blademaster Dojo"
:: Signed and wax pressed in the signet ring of Elijah Basia Uhr, a rampant dragon standard in green wax with indents in the parchment in a certain signature pattern for authenticity created by sharp mini ridges in the dragon's outstretched claws made to look like points of a rose petal. ::

::This was a matter of some import... so she sought out her old friend, the Order's Scribe, Father Dominic. He, in turn, made certain a copy was placed upon the cork in the Arena.::
Warlord Basia Uhr, Barons, Overlord & Officials:
The Lady Wilder has given me strict instructions to lay out her words here accurately and to the point.
The Lady Wilder wishes it to be known that she finds it no surprise that the Roman, Cassius Maximius, would rather point another Warlord in her direction than Challenge her himself. The Lady Wilder also wishes it to be known, though it is certainly already known by the Overlord, that her stance as Renegade in no way indicates a stance against the current Overlord.
The Lady Wilder states that the Warlord Basia Uhr's respectful tone in his Challenge is a refreshing change from his previous statements addressed towards her... and, indeed, a refreshing change from the typical Challenge made in the past few seasons. Further, she wishes to accept this Challenge in the same manner.
Even so, the Lady Wilder has indicated that she shall meet this Challenge in the Best of Three format as she has met ever other challenge.
From this point forward, the Lady Wilder shall conduct negotiations with the Warlord via private correspondence to arrange for a date, time and official for the Challenge.
