Nikki rides Blackwind onto the battlefield, fifty of the finest Elven warriors follow. Under the banner of the Wolf, Nikki joins the forces of Prince Tyrion. On the other side of the field stands Gorefang Ironclaw sitting atop his war boar, with his army of Orcs and Goblins. Prince Tyrion orders the army forward, on the left flank the Elven archers move off to take up position on the hill beside them. They stand one row behind the other so all rows can fire at the same time. No sooner are the archers in position that Tyrion gives the order to fire the first volley of arrows. The sky grows dark with the hail of arrows from the Elven longbows. The Orcs charge across the field, only to meet the shower of arrows, as they rain death down on them. But the Orcs are not slowed in the least as they charge forward toward the Elven line. The Elves hold the line as the Orcs crash in them, swords clash on shield as Orc and Elf battle. Gorefang charges in the fight on his war boar cutting down many Elves. Gorefang fights his way to Prince Tyrion, the mighty Orc warlord's sword drips with Elvenblood with a loud war cry The Orc charges the High Elven Prince. Tyrion looks up as he runs through the Orc warrior he was fighting, to see the Huge Orc on the war boar bearing down on him. But Gorefang only comes within a few feet of the Elven Prince, as the Orc Warlord and his war boar are hit from the side by a huge black war horse. Both rides are thrown from their mounts, Nikki rolls to his feet with sword in hand ready. The Orc a bit dazed from the fall, shakes his head to clear it. Gorefang sees the Elf that unsaddled him,and picking up his huge sword he roars and charges. But Nikki was ready, waiting as the Orc swung hissword in a large arc; it glanced off the Elf's shield. Nikki thrusts forward only to have it parried by Gorefang's sword, then with two hands on his sword, the Orc brings it down in a crushing blow, taking a good size chunk of metal out of the Elf's shield. As does the second blow from the Orc Warlord, Nikki is forced to move back a few steps as Gorefang's attack keeps coming. As the Orc's blows rain down on him, Nikki holds with shield and sword,but under the force of the mighty Orc, Nikki's shield is smashed to nae thing. Dropping the useless Shield to the ground the Elf step backs a few and grabs the hilt of his sword with two hands. Both Elf And Orc run at each other, swords clash high, which starts a full hour that the two mighty warriors fight, first one gaining an advantage, then the other but neither able to land the final telling blow before their opponent evened the odds. They both step back their armour in shreds about them, both bleeding and breathing very hard, and then at once they charge each other again. They go high then into a low cut, and the swords clashagainst each other. The Orc steps back as Nikki comes in with a thrust. He misses Gorefang for the Orc has cut down on the Elf's blade and slides forward cutting deeply into Nikki's right arm and chest. Before the Elf can move, the Orc spins around cutting him down. Tyrion and his men having fought the Orcs and started to drive them back, watches the last part of the fight between his friend Nikthanas and the Orc Warlord Gorefang.He makes his way closer to the two and then sees his friend get cut down. The Prince rushes just in time to parry the killing blow of Gorefang. The High Elven Prince parries the Orcs blade up then slides his sword around and down trapping Gorefang's blade against the ground. Hitting the Orc in the face with his free hand, Gorefang staggers back. The Orc Warlord looks around and realizes that his Boys are on the run, he looks to the Prince who standsover his fallen friend. A 'ther day elf" then he turns and makes his way to the Orc line. Tyrion lifts Nikki's head, his eyes barely open, Nikki looks up at the High Elf Prince, "I go to Valhalla, Tyrion". The Prince looks down at his friend with much sadness,"do nae speak like that Nikthanas, ye will be healed". Nikki's breath comes short, "Nae my Prince, I trust nae one here ................ but.....one.......,"Who is that? Can this person heal thee"? "I....Nae know....Tyrion......her name is........" His eyes close. Tyrion lookingup to the sky yelling, "Nae Odin, ye can nae have him yet". Nikki's eyes open, looking into Tyrion's "her name is Sher.... find her...................."

Sher had a strange feeling all morning. It was as if something was wrong, very wrong. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew someone close to her was in danger or worse. She was very restless and needed to get out, so she went for a walk. As she walked, the feeling of dread got stronger.She was walking with her head down, not really paying attention to her surroundings, when she felt a presence.....someone was looking at her.... slowly she looked around, and there was a man sitting on a horse a few feet away. He looked down at her from atop the horse and said, "M'lady...Please, I need your help......I need to find a woman by the name of Sher...Looking startled, she said,"I am Sher, what can I do for you?"(wondering how this man found her, and what he wants with her) "Thank Odin I have found you!" he said."My name is Prince Tyrion, and I know that you don't know me, but I need you to come with me, its a matter of life and death."Sher became immediately alarmed, having heard Nikki mention that name and knowing as soon as he said it, that something terrible had happened to Nikki. The feeling of dread was so strong it was almost choking her. "It's Nikki, isn't it? Something terrible has happened to him, hasn't it? Please tell me I am wrong." she pleaded. The Prince looked at her and said,"What you fear is correct, I'm afraid. We were battling a band of Orcs and Nikthanas wasfighting their leader. It was a hard fought battle, but the Orc got the better of Nikthanas and he lies dying in a cave by the battlefield. He asked me to find you M'lady and see if you can come to him. You are the only one he trusts. You are a healer, He needs healing or he is going to die." She said to him,"Yes, I am a healer, but I don't have full Elven healing powers. I can save his life, but I will be physically and mentally drained for awhileafterward. I may need your help getting back home after I help Nikki. Prince Tyroin Nods and helps Sher onto his horse,She holds onto him tightly as The High Elf Kicks the horse into full gallop.............

The Prince And Sher ride through what is left of Tyroin's army,as they stand guard of the cave entrance.A warrior takes the raines from Tyrion as he and the Lady Sher dismount.The warrior tells the High Elven Prince that Nikki is not doing well at all,Hearing this Sher starts to shake again.Tyrion turns to Sher "ye may nae be ready for this M'lady he is hurt real bad."Sher looks at him then the entrance ofthe cave,Shakes her head"I'll be fine M'lord,he needs my help".The prince saying "as ye wish M'lady Sher,This way then".The two walk to the entrance of the cave,The Prince stops and lets Sher go first.She walks past him and down the well light passage to a small room that its end.There Sher sees Nikki laying on a bed of furs covered in blood.Sher stops to catch her breath at the site of her friend. Nikki hears them approach and hears Sher stop,he lifts his head to look at her.As she stands there looking at him,the elf tries to stand with great effort he stands,holding out the good hand to her,he tries to walk to her.Sher rushes to as he falls over she catches him in her arms.The Prince comes over to aid her getting Nikki back on the bed of furs.In so much pain Nikki grabs for Sher's arm holding onto it tightly,He looks up at her staring intoher eyes deeply."Odin has sent for me Ssinssrigg........I saw......the valkyrie....before the Orc hit me......."Sher places a hand over Nikki's mouth"SHhhhh Odin will have to wait for thee we still need ye here,.......Now be still and let me heal thee Nikki."The Elf looking deeply into her eyes still in a very low voice"Usstan Uil Sreen'aur Xuil Dos Ghil.............."he voice fades off as his eyes close.Sher looks up at Tyrion,He smiles down toher.Nikki said "he is safe with ye here",he must trust thee very much M'lady.Sher just nods and sets about her work.For there is nae much time left to save her friend.Sher pulls some herds from her pouch and places them on the wounds with shaking hands,She looks up at the Prince"This may take some time.....He is hurt very bad."Tyrion nods to her"take ye time M'lady....my men will keep us safe and ye shall have all the time ye need." Sher puts her hands upon Nikki closing her eyes and starts to chant softly at first,Nikki still holding onto her arm tightly,as Sher chanting gets louder.A soft blue light starts toform around the wounds and as the light gets stronger Nikki's grip on her arm slowly lets go.The Elf drifts off into a deep sleep as the Half-Elf works her healing magic.Tyrion stands over them and watches as the mortal wounds start to close,as Sher's hands move over the wounds her chanting steady,the blue light filling the small room.

The Prince watches Sher work her magic and as the blue light fades she collapses over Nikki's body. Tyrion rushes over to her, lifting the unconscious woman off their friend. He places her gently beside Nikki, then motioning one of his warriors over, he whispers to him. "As soon as the lady awakens, and is ready to ride, take her home. But for now she needs to sleep." Tyrion tells him, "Take some men and find a cart so we can take Nikki back home."
The warrior, with a bow and a nod to the Prince, leaves.
One of the Prince's Bodyguards, a white lion warrior enters the small room. Seeing the prince he walks up and in a very low tone, "My Prince, there is a woman by the name of Terri outside." Tyrion asks, "What does this woman want?" The lion warrior replies, "She wishes to know, Nikki's condition my lord." Tyrion thinks to himself: Terri…, the woman Nikki has been seeing: "Bring her here and make it quick." The lion warrior bows and nods as he
leaves. He returns with the beautiful Elven woman. As she enters the room and sees Nikki lying there sleeping, she looks at the high Elven Prince. Tears in her almond shaped eyes, "Is he ok?" Tyrion steps next to her putting an arm around her shoulder, Aye he will be Sher saved him. Terri kneels beside Nikki taken his hand into hers and she holds it tightly to her.

As Terri holds Nikki's hand to her, She starts to cry softly for she is happy that he will be all right and she is with him.
Many hours have pasted when the elven warrior returns to the small room in the cave. Their Prince Tyrion watches over the Three. His long time friend Nikthanas still sleeps as Terri sits beside him whispering into his ear. The Lady Sher opens her eyes and sits up very slowly, Tyrion seeing her Smiles." Do ye need and hand M'lady?" he asks her. All Sher can do is nod, for healing her friend has taken much of her strength. The High Evlen Prince
moves to help the Lady up, Sher leans on him heavily. Tyrion helps her to a makeshift table; the warrior who enters the room gives him a hand. As they got Sher seated at the table the prince turns to the warrior. "Report" the prince orders, he starts his report with the news of the cart but is cut short by a gasp from Terri. Both Tyrion and the warrior turn to look at her," ye are awake Ussta Ssinssrigg."
Nikki looks up at the Beautiful Elven woman, who is holding his hand, he tries to smiles to her. 'Aye, I be Ssin'urn" Nikki tells her in a low voice as he tries to sit up. Terri helps him sit up, He looks around the small room to his friends that are there. Tyrion moves to his friend's side as Nikki tries to stand and with the help of Terri and Tyrion he does. Sher lifting her head from the table says "Nikki its nice to see ye up again" as she
smiles to him. "But ye need to rest my friend" Sher adds, Terri helping hold him up whispers into his ear "she is right Ussta Ssinrigg." Nodding Nikki tells them "there will time enough for rest later."
The golden hared Elf walks very slowly over to Sher, "I owe ye my life Sher," He said to her as he looks at the half Elven woman. The Lady looks at him and smiles "ye look like hell my friend" Nikki ads. " Indeed ye were hurt very bad, it took all I had to bring thee back" Sher tiredly replies. " Ye owe my nae thing my friend just having ye in my life is enough, for I don't want to lose ye" Sher adds. The Lady stands slowly and moves to Nikki as they
hug each other the Prince Tells them that the cart is ready to take Nikki home. Hearing this Nikki lets go of Sher and turns to face Tyrion, "nae use it to bring Sher Home she needs it more then I." Nikki tells him " And I rode onto this field of battle and will ride off of it" he adds. The High Evlen Prince looks shocked as does the Lady Sher " Nikki nae, I'll be fine, its ye who needs it" Sher says to him. Terri comes to Nikki's side putting a hand
on his arm, " Nikki ye nae have the strength to stand or ride." Nikki just looks into the Tyrions eyes and The Prince having seen that look before knows better then to argue the point with him. He just turns to The Lady Sher saying "As soon as ye are ready M'lady, I have an armed escort to see thee home." As Sher sees the look as well and knows it all to well, The Elf has made up his mind. Terri leans close and whispers into his ear " I will ride
with ye then Ussta Ssinssrigg", Nikki nods to her. Nikki hugs Sher again whispering softly to her "Bel'la Dos Ussta Abbil." " Nae thanks is needed Ussta Abbil, ye have taught me so much, I could nae let ye out of my life" Sher replies to her Friend and teacher.
The Prince turns to the Elven warrior " Saddle the horses and get the men ready to move out." The Elf Bows and with a sharp reply " Aye my prince" and he is gone. It takes a half-hour to get every thing ready; Sher sitting in the back of the cart wrapped in furs looks up at Nikki and Terri. The two sit on top of the mighty warhorse Blackwind smiles down at the half Elven woman. Good byes are said and the two on the horse watch the cart pull
away, then they turn to Tyrion. Nikki taking his friends hand shaking it, "Aluin Z'hind Ussta Abbil" Smiling to Tyrion. " Aye my friend safe journey" the prince replies, Nodding to Terri the high Prince turns his horse around and rides off.
"Well Ussta Ssinssrigg ye ready to go home" Nikki asks Terri. "Xas Usstan Uil Usstil Xukuth" Terri replies, the two ride off for the forest were Nikki's house is among the trees.

on his arm, " Nikki ye nae have the strength to stand or ride." Nikki just looks into the Tyrions eyes and The Prince having seen that look before knows better then to argue the point with him. He just turns to The Lady Sher saying "As soon as ye are ready M'lady, I have an armed escort to see thee home." As Sher sees the look as well and knows it all to well, The Elf has made up his mind.
