My plans are already set. My plans are to go down the list of Barons and challenge the ones who haven't been challenged in ages, just to give them one. I was going to challenge Unagi, as he was on his way to 3 years with 2 challenges, but someone got to him first, therefore, I crossed him off my list.

I could not challenge Rix because I was aware that he was to be challenged by Karen, therefore, he was not on my list.

I do not know if Daelin is still challenged or not, but I will have to do more research when I have time to figure out who to fight. Beyond those, I don't recall offhand who is next.

If you are still without challenge after a long period of time, I will take you up on your offer.

::reads all the stuff on the boards and shakes his head then adds his five pence::

Everytime somebody says something the least bit controversial they get jumped on a personal level.

How about letting the "injured" parties speak for themselves rather than putting thoughts and words in their mouths. My opinion of course.

I have found that Karen is quite able to defend herself, Mal is equally good at stating his views when he chooses to do so.

So, why keep stirring the pot?

::he descended into the Arena, the first time he had done so in awhile, he had won rank here but he had never cared for the place as much as most of the people he knew, now he was forced to become a messenger::

::reaching the cork, he slapped the letter up near the others regarding the same thing and he smiled as he read some of them::

"Well..these people aren't just bumps on a log after all. We'll see how many of them actually keep their word though."

::and with that, he flipped the forest green cloak over his head, and was gone::

-Written by the hand of Daelin Anduin Dragonsblade, Regent King of Dragonia and Dragonian Holy Swordsman:

Sorry for the formality everyone, but it seems while I am at home I cannot help but have things written in this way, it's like I am forced to everytime I am at court. I know that I haven't been very active in the Arena, but I have been watching, I believe that I should at least fufill one of my duties as a Baron while holding the station.

As far as watching what is going on, however. I don't see anything that makes me feel better about the direction that the sport is going. A case in point is this situation with Elijah. Before, he always seemed like a good-natured person, but things change I suppose.

Elijah, I personally have no idea why you would attack Karen just because she issued challenge to Rix instead of yourself, you seem to be itching to jump into the ring. It's been known for quite awhile that Karen had planned on challenging Rix, and she stuck to her word, you can't change that. Why not attack Malhavoc or Ramsus because they didn't issue challenge to you? Or was that going to be next on your agenda? Of course, that is a silly point,
but your whole arguement now is silly Baron.

There is an old saying, Elijah, be careful what you wish for..you just might get it. If you so desperately want to defend your Title, why don't you take up a cause like Cassius did recently and allow any challenger to come forth and should they win, you retire your title, or better yet you can truly test yourself by retiring the ring yourself and entering the upcoming Warlord Tournament to see if you can get it back.

"I do not know if Daelin is still challenged or not, but I will have to do
more research when I have time to figure out who to fight. Beyond those, I
don't recall offhand who is next."

As for you G'nort, no I am not currently under challenge. And I await yours, it would actually be a great deal of fun and in all seriousness, you are one of the people I wouldn't mind relinquishing the ring to, because I know it would be alright. Make sure Skuld the DeBugger is in top performance because I'm not
going to expect any less from you, G.

Sgt. Sneggle,

Controversial is one thing, attempting to rip someone a new orifice for their choice of who they wish to challenge is not quite the same thing.

C. Lasher

::slaps up a second note::

E,

Tradition in this sport also includes respect for others competing, does it not? Respect which you did not extend to Captain Mahrtun and Malhavoc Shadowlord nor to Lady Wilder and Verceterix FavreFACE="Arial" LANG="0">.

In the first case:
While tradition is to post an announcement, it makes more sense to make the announcement with the whos and wherefores decided, does it not?

In the second case:
Are you jealous that you were not chosen over Rix? If she did not beat you once and is in search in gaining a ring, why should she waste her time in coming after you again?

In short... E, if someone told you who to challenge, you'd tell them to butt out. Well, that's the polite version.

Collie,

Long tradition was simply to notify that you challenged someone, then the particulars came later. I just think it is unfair to the rest of the community that people challenge behind closed doors, in secret, without letting the public know. What if someone challenges a Loyal Baron like what I mentioned, so no one but the Baron's Council and officials know, and then another person comes along and challenges a couple days later the same baron
and then their challenge is voided because there can be no que for Loyal Barons? That is what I think is discourteous about not letting the public know a challenge has been issued.

As far as Karen goes. All I can say it's typical of the Christains to turn tail and run when it gets tough to seek other quarry. I just hate her because she is a holy warrior for a bunch of bible thumpers who ruined my homeworld with their crap. She represents everything I find evil about the place I came from and she flaunts it in a way I find disgusting.

Regards with respect, skill, and honor to the Blade,

Rest in reason, pursue in passion,

Elijah Basia Uhr

Baron of the Twelfth of Swords,

Fromer Baron of the Fifth, Seventh, Eigth, and Ninth Rings of Swords,

Warder Mentor of the Dragon Blademaster Dojo

E,

I'm from Ireland, so you're preaching to the choir on the subject of religion, however, what does a Karen being a Knight Templar have to do with her choice to challenge Rix?
