To the Duel of Swords Community, I Present a News Bulletin

I had said something to Itharr before he began one of his many duels this evening, reminding him that I had called his last win against Ticallion. Ticallion then said, and I quote, "Oh, let's remind the world!"
Therefore, I will oblige. The news is.... Itharr beat Ticallion 5-3 in 8 rounds.
I am under the impression Ticallion has some weird vanity thing going where he wants everyone to know. Don't blame me. I'm only helping him nurture this ongoing complex where his misfortune must be heard.
Because this anti-narcissistic rage is a growing problem, I am forming a fundraiser that go to all the unfortunate warlords in the Duel of Swords community who find it necessary to make their losses against a peer public.
This should also act as a foundation for the many Anti-Narcissistic Warlords and duelers to come out of denial, and finally announce they suffer from Anti-Narcissism.
Come, duelers... become a member of "Some Anti-Narcissistic Duelers (SAND)" and share your stories where you want people to know you lost a duel. It is theraputic.

Remember, sometimes you have to lose to win.

Ummm...er...I think I beat both Ithar and Ticallion...it's possible. I can't seem to remember who I beat or who I lose against..::shrugs::

Does this mean I'm part of the group? I really want to fit in around here, ya know.

I've lost a lot of duels lately. I used to be about 139 WoL, and now I'm 129.

Is there anyone in SAND who can help? I sure would like to pound some SAND.

I hope that SAND doesn't get into my clothes though, they might be unattractive members.

Who is the SAND man, Var, you? I just want to know who's in charge.

Nick, SAND is a developing organization where the duelists deem it necessary to make their losses known.
If you wish to have your wins known, then you must apply to be a Roman. You may not fit in with that, but you get other benefits, like passes to public bath houses, a toga, and a Roman name (you would be Nickus).
G'nort, I am not the SAND man. When it comes to dueling, I am DAMMed (Denying About My Misfortunes). That disqualifies me from playing in SAND.

So when's the support group coming out for whiny, self-righteous Barons obsessed with their rings?

Hey,

I don't have a problem winnin'. I think.
Anyway, I can't be a SAND, 'cause I'm already da Ghost. Yeah, ya heard right. I'm da Ghost.

'Cause when ya duel me, it's kinda like fightin' a ghost 'cause ya don't know where I'ma pop up and it's hard as hell tryin' ta catch me. An' it's just that scary duelin' me.

Yeah, that sounds tight. I'ma roll wit that one. Need somethin' ta hype up this challenge comin' up.

No one take it too seriously, seems some of you gotta loosen up. An' Var, ya can jus' call me Tical. No one calls me Ticallion 'cept my moms.

An' I beat Nick too, what?

You're more than welcome to start your own support group, Cas. I thought being a Roman was painful enough to admit, but it's good for yourself to seek help from more than one venue.

I suppose that makes us even.

In that case, I don't want to be part of the group....SNAFU.

Well what is the name of the group called where you attain the rank of Warlord and then the very night the standings are sput up you loose it?
That's the group I should be part of.
