Sixth Baron's Ring Update
From: hostpcgremy@aol.com (HOST PCG Remy)
Date: 12 Jun 2002 22:28:40 EDT
Duelists,
Let it be known that the matter regarding the challenge from Ramsus Llegron to Baron Xeric Mues, holder of the Sixth Ring, has been passed to the Baron's Council. Baron Mues has not responded within the alloted seven days, and thus the Council has been called to make a decision on how this situation will be resolved.
There will be an official notice posted whenever the Council has come to a decision.

Swords Community,
My vote and my stance on this issue is simple. I favor stripping Xeric Mues of his title and a champion being appointed to face Ramsus for his right to try to win the title for himself. I believe titles should be fought for, but I don't think a challenger should be penalized or lose out because of the challenged failings. I am posting this simply because some have complained in the past about wondering which Baron voted what and so forth,
so I am simply letting the public know my stance on this issue. I leave it to the other Barons to say or not as they desire the rest of this matter, but my vote will be for what I said here and not for anything else.
Regards with respect, skill, and honor to the Blade,
Rest in reason, pursue in passion,

For reference,
I have voted to have Xeric stripped from holding the title, and have Ramsus duel Nova as the champion.
I was honestly leaning towards Dal initially, but then it was brought to my attention that Nova held the sixth ring before. I feel that both are good duelists and would fight as champions, but Nova has more that drives him to defend it.

Just so an accusation cannot be leveled against me...
I too have voted to strip the Baron of his ring, and allow Nova to champion the ring.

I voted to strip Xericmues of the ring and have Ramsus face a champion of the council's choosing. In the best interests of a fair vote, I abstained from selecting a champion.
