Roman pig,

Who are you to wager with me? I told you before the price it would cost you.

Angelina

I do not wager with cattle, nor their keepers. My offer stands.

Translation:
I'm too scared to lose.

Translation2:
I can't figure out if the bet is a good thing or not, so won't acknowledge it.

Translation3:
I am too stupid to consider the terms, so will say "My offer stands," Insult the person making the wager to me, and play it off like I'm Mr. Cool dude.

Conclusion:
Severe is an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing.

Boy this guy is really good, I mean picking on women, most of who will turn him inside out. Doesn't he realize he makes himself look even more stupid with each passing remark?

"Roman pig,
Who are you to wager with me?"

Well, between the two of us, I would say that I am the established name here, and you are the rookie trying to prove himself in a rather tragic-comic fashion.

A more appropriate question would have been "Roman pig, why are you wasting time with me?"

>>I will find three women of the Duels to give me permission for a lock of their hair. If you win, you can have the locks.<<

I'll offer one up for your cause, Cas, but when you win, cut off a part or two of his for me.

Dear St. Severe,

It seems that you are a "my way or the highway" type of person. As most of us have learned, we do not always get what we wish for. We should be careful what we wish for as we just might get it. It is also true that when you point a finger, three point back.

I understand that you have insulted most of the women in the arena including the greatly respected Captain Morgan, a many time title holder in these halls. Last Saturday evening you complained regarding the accent of one of the officials. By your action you caused the finger pointing to be returned to yourself in the form of Jehanne. You were corrected as you attempted to be the correcter.

I have a challenge for you. I will meet you in the Arena to duel late Thursday or late Friday evening. The only condition is that you not refuse no matter what I look like least you be branded a coward. The truth to that, however, is that you have already done so by your insults and refusals to other duelists. I care not if I am defeated, I just want to see your hide in the ring and to see if you will back out.

Will you come forth, valiant one, or do you chose the start your path down the coward's way of a thousand deaths?

A lapse in courage is the fact that I haven't been challenged yet.

Karen Wilder,

Of all the people I anticipated to encounter you are an unexpected gift. A woman, talented with weaponry, and a religico.

I do accept your so very kind invitation and I am generally to be found in the arena around 10 pm by the eastern clock Friday or Saturday.

The Spike shall be empty awaiting your blood

As for the rest of the cretins that howl meaninglessly, their discordant barking falls on deaf ears. I have found the perfect prize.

Hag who signs her name Rhiannon Dawn Brock,

Go about your business. I have found a far more suitable person to vent my spleen on in the person of Karen Wilder. What are you in comparison?

As for Captain Morgan she is of no consequence in this arena. Her name a dim memory, her face a tarnished blur, her influence nonexistent.
