Giggling merrily, she skips to the DoS message boards, a wrinkled piece of paper in her hand. Looking around, she makes sure no one sees her and tacks up one of her old poems, left unsigned.Chronicles of the Bardic WeddingCome one, come all,Tis time fer the most merry weddin' o' all!!!Once, when I wandered the RhyDin lands,I came upon a bardic fastin' o' 'ands.T'was the funniest sight I ever did see...T'was rainbow in fashion, An' the bride's eyes danced in glee.I thought all was normalTil the procession began. Up danced the flower grrl and I thought te meself"Oy gods....what a 'am!"She danced an' pranced an' tossed the petals about, Winkin' at the gents an' flashin' 'em a teasin' pout. She arrived at 'er seat and flashed a bit o' leg,An' the priest swooned, 'is eyes a-beg.She batted 'er eyes, and mouthed a word,An' by 'im a 'idden promise was 'eard. The ring boy was the next sight te see,An' when I saw 'im I thought"It's normal...finally."Quietly, 'e walked down the aisle,Pausing dramatically in full nobleman's style.A gasp was 'eard from the back o' the room, An' as the ring boy smirked in triumphThe bride muttered "Ye thought ye won too soon."With an impish grin an' a wave o' the 'and,His rainbow pants vanished an' a kilt appearedIn 'is 'and.Wif an embarrassed blush 'e put it on, An' walked te the groom, Muttering 'bout bards an' their silly songs.Shakin' me 'ead in proper grinnin' dismay,I knew I'd never forget this day.For 'ere down the aisle,What did I see? A man....A man in a dress, the same as me!!He strolled gaily down the aisle,Definitely *not* in nobleman's style.Tryin' te follow the flower grrl's way,He failed miserably an' shamed 'imself that day.He pranced an' fell an' 'it 'is knee,All the while those gathered cackled in glee.Shame-faced, 'e slinked te 'is place,A shade o' cherry red on 'is face.Last came the bride,The moment o' the day.Standin' there, I wondered what else could I say?T'was now the normalacy became!Splendid an' pure, proud an' true,She walked to 'er love, An' 'er eyes said "I love you."Blinkin' slightly, I pondered.Where did the antics go?The vows were done, the kiss was sealed,An' the bride turned te the room and 'appily squealed.Wavin' 'er 'ands about the room, a loud noise was 'eardAn' several pies sailed into view.Splashin' everyone in sight, The bride grabbed 'er love and ran,Yellin' "Thank ye an' good night!"Glancing it over with a nod of approval, she giggles again and skips out into the chill winter morning.
