Challenge for the 7Th

Post by DoS Archive » Fri Apr 23, 2004 7:23 pm

From: Dakich

I, Dak, Warlord of the Duel of Swords and member/knight of the RETRIBUTION state this, my challenge for the right to the 7th Ring of the Duel of Swords. Some may remember me stating that I do not seek to be a baron. But, for reasons I cannot discuss and the fact that the Baron Moralitor's renegade hold upon that ring is just not cool, I must do what I have to do. These are my wins as follows which gives me Right of Challenge (I put more than 10 just in case):
1. HumaDragbn 5-2 in 7 rds Mathia 9-19-97
2. Dem Cyrax 5-1 in 8 rds Mimi 9-19-97 3. NovaShayde 5-2 in 6 rds Scad 8-29-97 4. Dark Axe 5-2 in 8 rds Rogue 8-29-97 5. Xyclone 5-2 in 6 rds Golden 9-5-97 6. Valmion 5-0 in 8 rds Fish 8-2-97 7. Perrinis 5-3 in 10 rds Luth 12-5-97 8. GnrtDrgoon 5-1 in 5 rds Golden or Helix (darn) 12-14-97 (if not that one: 5-3 in 9 rds Luth 12-5-97) 9. Rix Favre 5-3 in 13 rds Rogue 9-4-97 10. PKardinal 5-2 in 8 rds Golden 1-2-98 (this week) 11. Percival 5.5-3 in 8 rds Slayer 1-4-98 (this week) 12. Rand alTan 5-3 in 5 rds Golden 10-5-97 13. Caliyah 5-4 in 7 rds Rogue 10-9-97 14. QuickVar65 5-3 in 7 rds Rogue 10-10-97 15. Skyler JC 5-4 in 14 rds Slayer 10-17-97 I wait for the confirmation of these wins and the acceptance of the Baron. thanks all! -Dak"In the eyes of Retribution"

::frowns reading Perrinis's post, remembering the General to once have been a man of honor::

I guess Perrinis...with Draven and Zaradda all but gone...you have found a gap and filled it. To bad that you had to take up where they left off. But one thing they had...that you never will...was the ability to back up their mouths.

Have a nice day sir,

"Adonai."
Look who's talking. "You've" never beaten me in the rings. And from what I hear, you're a shadow of the dueler you claim to be.

Perrinis,

Correction....I have beaten you in the rings...several times...and I would be more than happy to share these records with you if you feel a need to request them.
As to being a shadow....that is far from the case. My dueling is a tad rusty....but I am still Adonai Uziel....and when it comes down to it....I can still dance a circle or two around you...and your cohorts. The small decline in my dueling is not from any lack of ability...but from a serious case of being out of practice.
Feel free to come and check my *shadow * anytime you feel like eating crow.

Staking out the territory, Miguel took a peek into the Arena on his way past, seeming no more than a common vagrant. Seeing no one, he slipped inside, reading those messages which would give a glimpse into everyone's lives. Spying a note signed by Luthien, he broke into a low chuckle, seeing a way to perhaps have some fun and make some money. But he liked getting as much enjoyment out of his work as possible. Grabbing a napkin and anunclaimed red pen, his darkened fingers wrote out a short note and tacked it to the board in a conspicuous location.Friday night, Luthien? I wonder if they can get some extra cash by then. Something to consider as you go about your day. Most sincerely,CABALA small canister was removed from one pocket as the pen was placed in another. Sprayed on the napkin, it removed all fingerprints where he touched it. Miguel knew they weren't taken very seriously, for now.. he wasn't about to risk getting caught before he could change that perception.

Hey Luthy, I thought I had the crow eating concession after last weeks dribbling.
