Days passed.
In Steve's deep dream he did recall all that he had remembered of his homeland. All the sights, sounds, smells, and people, along with his experiences of most of his life, long forgotten though they occured only a two years ago.
What was not remembered was the year of hardship, the year Steve had been on the road, looking for a place to live his life, away from his homeland. Remembered neither was the reason that he left his home in the first place. Remembered only was the good times of his land of birth, and it left a distinct impression on Steve's mind while he slept.
Waking up Wednsday evening as the alarm goes off, normally to signal him that it is time to prepare for the night's dueling out the Outback, Steve had the impression that the dream left on him, but also remembered the turmoil that was racking the DoS community and House Questrion in particular. Fueled by the emotions of the dream, he decided to return home, to get bo back to the world unto whence he came. He knew not the hardships that might facehim on the way, nor what would happen when he finally reached his destination.
He packed up all he could fit in his backpack that could be of use in his journey. Before leaving, he took the time to write notes to the DoS and DoF community. Here is the note left in the mail that was delivered by courier to this board:

Duelers, Patrons and others affliated with the RDI Duel of Swords that read this,
It has been two days since the official notice was sent to declare my retirement from the Duel of Swords. Although it shall not be official until probably tommorow as the new standings are issued, I am informing you all of my retirement now, before I leave.
It has been a very memorable 11 and one-half months in the area of RhyDin and the Dueling Venues. I slowly climbed the ranks, and held the 3rd Baron's ring for a short time. I recently gained the rank of Emerald in DoF and tied for 4th position in the recent Diamond Quest. I made friends with some, aquaintances with others. I will sincerely miss all of you.
You most likely do not know what pain and suffering I have been enduring the past weeks, but it is only getting worse. I am returning to the land of my birth, and what I seek there is refuge from what is ailing me inside, that which cannot be expressed in words, but only felt by the victim.
To the House of Questrion, I bid nothing but good will towards, that they may one day no longer be looked upon as the rebels. I bid that whoever shall replace our current Overlord wields their power wisely, so that all can duel in a more relaxing atmosphere. And I bid luck to any of those duelers who feel similar to myself and wish the Overlord to be replaced. It is a shame that such a fine dueler can so corrupt the system.
I have never claimed to be a good dueler. I have only sought out a higher challenge for myself, whenever it was possible. But now I see that it is not possible in this venue at this time. The challenge for me now is to rid myself of what is effecting me.
Farewell for now. When I will return is as much a mystery to you as it is to me.
::signs his name in large, and in script for once::-
Steven Glowacki
Warlord of DoS
Ex-Holder of the 3rd Ring
Emerald of DoF
Member of House Questrion dueling team, formerly Questrion Black, of the TDL
Note: This is my first and only listing of my "titles", not applying my retirements and resignations, to hopefully serve as some sort of memory.

((Message to DoF community is on the DoF board, in case you couldn't figure that out))
After writing and sending out the messages, Steve took up his pack and headed out on the road. He left behind an empty home, with no notice as to where he had gone. Turning back a mile down the road out of RhyDin Town, Steve turned back and stared at the city for a second, before turning back, and making his way on his long journey home.
((See y'all later, its been real fun, and mind wracking for me at times too. I hope to get back in a few months or so, whenever I feel really bored and want something to get involved in. But for right now I can't really handle the burden. Not like I ever got involved in other SLs or anything, but the whole Questrion thing is a bad omen to me. I'd love to play through it, but I got alot of other stuff that's come up, and my RPing time will go downto almost none. I'm wasting too much time writing these as is. I'll still be around AOL doing other stuff, but don't expect Steve to actually step foot in the Arena.))
Steve's Farewell, and Journey Home.
