Number One Contender: To possibly instigate more Emerald against Emerald duels, there should be a Number One Contender position. That person must be an Emerald and defeat the former #1 Contender to gain the title. Whoever is the #1 Contender heading into the Diamond Quest or any other tournament gets automatic seeding or byes.
Tag Team Title: There should be a separate title for two-person tag teams. In a tag team, each person gains an extra move ("Tag") signalling a call in for his or her partner. Matches go to thirty rounds or ten points. Unlike Singles matches, each person must be successfully hit five times, not the other way around. If one is knocked out, the other one is automatically tagged in and must fight in a handicap match.

Regarding the Emerald ranking...
The Emerald ranking is a system that just shows the emerald against emerald fighting. It's not a contest. The only contest in it is to gain the most amount of wins over losses so that you can be the first seed in the Diamond Quest. That rule already is in place. When emerald's fight, they're not fighting to become the main seed in the DQ, but to be the top emerald! You see, everyone wants to be the top emerald. At least, that's what I think...
Regarding the second suggestion...
There used to be a Tag Team tournament, which was held on Monday nights. Unfortunately, it's gone now, but if you'd like to start it up again, go talk to Roland ((SN: Roland Sal)). Regarding Tag Team being an official duel... I believe that is far off from the dueling in the Outback. If that ever did happen, which I don't believe will happen too soon, it would take quite a while to prepare.
