This past Saturday (I know this is late, my bad), Andrew Forcer challenged Tarl Cabot for the right to hold the Yellow Opal, Moonberyl. And in case you hadn't heard the results..
FIGHT ONE:
This wasn't even funny to watch. Outside of botching a dodge and tripping over Tarl's leg, Andy had no problems staking his claim to the title with a 5-3 win. The fight wasn't nearly as close as the score would indicate, as the lead was 3-0 before Tarl could score, at which point they both went toe to toe in an effort to get right into the next round. Note: This is the first challenge fight Tarl's ever lost.
FIGHT TWO:
More interesting than the complete beatdown the first one wound up as. Trading hits for the whole duel, Tarl finally managed to slip a couple of Andy's attacks while landing his own to take a 4-2 lead. For one round, the challenger toyed with the idea of a comeback, but it wasn't long before the champ just decked him to tie things up.
FIGHT THREE:
Now this was chaos, I tell you. At Harris' suggestion, the fighters used the entire Outback as their ring. (Note: Never listen to Harris.) With the joint as their ring, everything was in play- like the chair Tarl slammed over Andy's legs after knocking him on his butt, or the mugs Andy started heaving in retaliation. Even though I think we all hoped someone would bodyslam the other right on Harris, it never happened. But anybody that doesn't
like Andy (and who doesn't like Andy, now?) would've been happy; this was even more of a blowout than the first fight, just in the other direction. After a 4-0 lead, Tarl stuck around long enough to connect once more, despite taking a couple of hits in the process, and take the last fight 5-2.
So, it's official- Tarl Cabot defeated Andrew Forcer, 2 duels to 1.
Signed,
Deuce
