Alex awoke that morning. His body was still a little stiff, from the hard workout the previous night. ::He let out a loud groan as he stretched himself out on the bed. His jaw started to quiver, as he quickly hudled back up into a ball. It was only for a brief moment but the chill ran straight through him. It had happened several times in the past copuple days, and he had no reason to understandit. It wouldnt matter if he were hot or not. The chill ran through him.FireHe looked around. Had someone spoken to him? The door was still locked, the window shut. His room was how it always was, empty. Was it this chill that needed him to seek a fire? He shook his head. StarHe jolted upright, and in a flash ran to his door. Throwing off the lock he opened the door to look outside. Nothing, no one, empty. The hallway to the Oakenshield Mannor was empty. He rubbed his eyes. What the hell was going on he thought to himself. He shut the door and leaned against it.FirestarFirestar? He had heard that name before. He had felt the need for whatever it was. One of those Opal things... yeah that was it. It was only a couple days after he first came to the Outback that he learned of these Opals. Firestar? What could he possibly want with that?... He layed back down and tried to close his eyes.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------More days past, and every waking moment became a struggle for him. His thoughts always went to this Opal. He knew not why, but only that he found comfort in it. He had seen it breifly on a couple nights, worn by a man named Harris. It was only logical what he must do. He had to hold it, posses it. And so he went to challenge... His reasons his own, not understanding the law of the land. He knew not of ranks, or of anything else... Just that he had toget this Opal. Once to the board, he left the post out for all to see...Harris...I simply ask to meet you in the ring for the right to wear the opal.AlexanderThe letter was short. He couldnt explain his reasons.. only that he had to get it. Hell he didnt even know the reason he needed it. But someone did. Someone trapped far away. Someone trying hard to break the surface of the water and free himself. He had once held the Opal. He had need for it. He had the need for the Fire. Some may remember those desires. Some may recall why it was his. Some may recall how he left it for shame. The bottom line washe needed it. So he fought to regain the body, the mind. He fought to get the Opal back.

Alexander,

Well, I guess we could meet in the ring and fight. But be warned. I'm gonna beat ya to a bloody pulp. Really. :-)
