As he returns home from the Isle after a successful night of dueling, he finds a white and yellow scroll with a hastly written message apon it waiting for him. After reading the message he enters the house and grabs severial things, including his weapons and a days worth of food.As he makes his way to the back door to get his horse from the stable behind his home he mutters to
himself "My last week off before training begins again, and now I get to go take care of this again".
Saddling the black roan he tries to calm the uneasy beast by talking in a soothing voice. "Its ok" he whispers "We just have to go for a little ride. I am needed back home." This having been said he leads the still cautious horse out to the front of the house, where he mounts and takes off down the road.
Riding along toward his destination he draws near town where the Outback is situated. As he sees the building he spends many of his nights in, he veers off his course and stops infront of the Outback, undoes the lock, and enters. Making his way quietly as to not wake any who may be sleeping within, he makes his way to the cork board and tacks up a quick message.

I'm not going to be around for a little while, just thought i'd let ya know incase anyone cares. If im lucky, I'll see you all again sometime not to long from now.. if not.. well I had a lot of fun while I was here. Take care all and try not to miss me too much, Heh.

Kheldar Drasinia,
The soon to be ranked, Brute of the Cycle.

Tacks the message up and slips back out, relocking the door as he exits. Turns, remounts, and makes his way through the vally to meet his fate once again in his little known homeland.

Seeing the missive left on the cork, the warrior takes out the almighty pen and writes a quick return note, not even sure if Kheldar will see it. Nonetheless, he quickly pens out....Good luck in whatever endeavors you are planning to partake. Come back soon.Bane

She had awaken that morning with a heavy feeling.. the bruise from a well deserved hit, still starburst on the side of her face. But, that was the only major pain. Later after cleaning she would take a hot bath or something.

Throwing her door open, she tromped down the stairs in a simple black shirt and some cozy fitting pants.. not the usual fighting get up, and there was a reason for that. She had to clean.. after all, Harris had a love for throwing peanuts, one that Kheldar and Xerzes had now picked up.. and several glasses get knocked over during the course of the night.

So, to work she went.. sweeping, mopping, generally straightening things up, and doing the dishes. What caught her eye, was a letter that had fallen off of the cork board.. plus, the still half open door.

(qm)"Don't people know how to shut the door and lock it back?"

Reading the note as she closed the door, all she could offer was a heavy sigh and a hmph. Getting out her tools, she placed the letter back on the board, then went to start working on her brother's mess.

An early return

It had been only a short while since he posted the note in the Outback stating that he would be gone for a while, and at the time he posted it he expected to be. Luckly for him, that turned out not to be the case, and he stumbled into bed early sunday afternoon, and colapsed on his bed not even noticing severial notes posted on the door of his home, including something from the isle a scroll and a birth anouncement
which he would write a reply to later.
It took but a few seconds to drift off to sleep as he had not slept much at all since he rode off a week ago. It is not a good sleep however, it is a fitful, restless sleep filled with dreams and images of the events that had taken place since he left.
Dreams of running, fighting, dragging fallen comrads back to the sick bays as he dodges the deadly beams of light, finding himself there once or twice as well, but dispite all the bad dreams, they had done what was needed by stoping the onslaught and deactivating the enemy's bases while protecting their own.
Awaking from this uneasy sleep after severial hours he mutters to himself. "Whats the point.. I gotta do something to take my mind off of it." As he leaves his house he places the notes on his door on his table before locking up again and walking away. As he reaches his destination, the Outback, he realizes it is closed.
Shaking his head trying not to itch his bandaged wounds he tries to figure out what day it is here, where time moves diffrently. Finaly figuring out that the Arena is also closed so he makes his way to the Isle to give spell casting another try.
He had done well there before, but thats not the case this night. His mind still occupied with thoughts of the past week, he doesnt do well at all losing severial matches that he should have won, so he returns home long before close.
At home he reads through the letters and responds to severial, delivers them, and then changes the dressing on his wounds before drifting off to sleep again.
