His unheralded entrance into this new land was not something he would normally have tolerated, but he allowed it to pass, for now. It had been a long journey, and he did not wish to move prematurely. He'd felt the stirring in this area, and he knew that this was that place where discord and malice ruled supreme at the current time, a time period he would try to make last forever. However, he also knew that early action was never advised. Age had
taught him that patience was a virtue, and study before movement was ever the adviseable course.

He took stock of this "Dueling Arena" and found it to be quite like the Arena he'd fought for his life in during his youth. A grim smile came to his face as he thought, "I was able to defeat that-I will defeat this as well."

He glanced about, catching sight of a few matches in progress and took stock of his future opponents. He knew that his rise to power would not be easy, but it never was. He'd conquered many a realm, and never had he been met by open arms and a willingness to succumb. He knew, however, that he had never failed when he had set his mind to something, and he did not think this instance would be any different.

Softly, he said to himself, "All that should be, will be. All that was, will be again." With that, he walked off, disappearing into the night, knowing that his move to take power would come-when he was ready.
