For the love of mike!
If Gnim had a sword pointed at him and he walked away with out a scratch, who cares???? I am tired of seeing people bandy about the word honor when it suits them. One of the foundations of honor is loyalty, your word being a real and legal binding element. And seeing your treatment to people ye don't know Gnim, I'd say ye missed out on the second most important mark of honor, respect. Ye have to give it to get it.

Hey, Brian...Just thought I'd let you know, I have never tried saying that I have any sort of honor in any way shape or form. I don't fancy myself some honorable knight or any such nonsense. It's really cute and fuzzy to go around saying So-and-so is sooo honorable and such, but when it comes down to it, you hafta do what it takes to win...or stay alive, depending on the case. In fact, it was Billy Ray Karnafexx himself who said it two years
ago...Honor don't put food on the table, pal. I still believe that to be entirely true.

To all,
I find this debate meaningless to the extreme in the fact that all it will cause if further strife in our "sport". I would ask that both sides forego any further talks on this matter. I cannot give creedance to Topaz's bastardized memories of what happened on the night of the challenge but at the same time I will not deny her the right to speak her mind.
To put the fact straight, I did indeed draw my sword and advance menacingly upon Gnimish. He and I both knew no violence would come of this because he knows the character of my personage. I held Justicant in a dangerously close proximity to his person andcried, I told him that all would not have been like this is he simply cared for peoples feelings. I then broke down, most un-worrior-like, and allowed mysel to be escorted from the area. I feel
no shame for my feelings nor do I regret the actions I took. It is upon my heart that this must rest and if I choose to chastise myself than so be it. I will not however be made to look the villian by another, especially if it is not true.
In the end, all this comes down to is a promise made by myself which was properly completed. I stated that Gnimish and I would meet and that I would defeat him and after our match he and I would be no more. That was my word and so I shall keep it. Gnimish *as well as* his mate Topaz no longer exist to me, the fates have decreed that I banish them both from my mind and my heart, so it is fated, so I shall do.
Hate me not for my apparent callousness, fear me not for slanderous rumors about my temper, question me not of my loyalties.
So say I,
Adeena Maeax,
The Red Zealot,
Baroness.

::the guardian chuckles::
Little do I know of these events... but of the baroness I can say that even her glance might be considered an attack by one who perceives its fierceness. As to the drawing of swords outside the rings... I myself have not only drawn blade but engaged in furious combat outside the bounds of the dueling sands. Was mine action honorable? Likely not. Was it necessary? Absolutely.
