As I was present at the Challenge and seem to remember Darkness saying he wished to be Loyal to Dalamar, I'd assumed that was an official declaration. My apoligies if it were otherwise.

Sartan of course my and will challenge any he pleases...and at this point he decided to challenge Rand AlThor. Mayhaps his speed offended your propriety madame.....but as yet there is nothing in the Universal terms of Challenge addressing whether a challenge may be issued when a Baron is unaligned....I am not saying there isn't something I may have missed...but as yet I have not seen such things.
But that has taken care of itself as the Baron has petitoned Dalamar for a loyal alignment.
And to answer your ponderings upon my challenge....I do not feel that I am keeping it from the community at large...and the reason I am not touting it about with imperial horn brigades and horse parades is that I feel after my efforts to keep this between ourselves that the Baron did more than enough to turn this challenge into a circus...and I have no intention of fueling it. The challenge is in place and a date and time is set. I
am sure you if you wish to know the when's and wheres and hows of it....someone will tell you.
