""A crumpled and tear stained sheet of parchment attached to the board.....the normally strong and clear writing now shakey::

My friends...

Many of you already know of the resignation of my husband, Daemon Satyriasis, from the Duel of Swords staff. He has left RhyDin with our daughter for his home world of Færûn.... seeking something..... I know not what. Though this pains me greatly to say this, for I have grown to love many of you, I too shall be leaving RhyDin. I shall be following my love, and my heart, to Færûn in search of my family. I know not if we shall ever return to this
place that has come to mean so much to me.... but I do know that I shall never be able to return to RhyDin without Daemon and Brianna.

Fare thee well and Goddess keep you all...........

Khrysta,

Travel well my friend. I know that if you had stayed you would have been miserable. I shall miss you.
Return to us someday.

Love,

Lady Dragonbane
It seems to me that the fair Lady Khrysta is following misery and not running from it. This cold heart presents a valentine to the world declaring his love and then leaves with their only child. They say that love is a bed of roses but He offers only thorns. I have never seen such love and devotion before. Would that she were mine.

::Morte sighs reading the posts and knowing the truth o' the distance between Khrys and Dae. 'No one will miss Khrys more than me' Morte thought, ' but i'll be relieved that she nae be with Dae. He's such a fool te leave her.' Morte frowns at the thought o' Dae takin Bri and runnin away with her. E'eryone knows a child belongs wid it's muther til it's much older. She shakes her head hard. "It goes against nature" Morte muttered. She knows what she'd
do te Badger if he tried te take Pru away, he likely be missin a body part. She pulled out a small dagger and stabbed it inte the wall te hold up her brief post.::

May the Goddess guide yer steps Khrys. May she lead ye te the truth o' yer heart, and may yer wanderin steps lead ye back te those who truely love ye most.

Kyle looks up at the horse his Little Sister left for him. He reads the note one more time, then carefully folds it. He walked over to the huge horse. "Emperor, huh? Good name for you, boy," he says as he stroked the horse's neck. Softly, he said to no one in particular, "Yeah, I'll watch him for you, Khrys ... until you come back."

He climbed up on the horse, patting him on the neck. "Let's go for a ride, shall we, boy?" He grabbed the reins and gently dug his golden spurs into the horse's sides, urging him forward. The horse jumped forward and they were off, faster than Kyle would have thought possible.

The horse seemed to know that Kyle needed to get away for a while. The huge white Andelusian stallion ran asound the lake then headed across the plain, seeming to know where to go. Kyle was only vaguely aware of where they were, as he recalled his many discussions with Khrys about her life with Daemon.

She had told Kyle that Dae was the love of her life... the only reason for living she had. But Kyle could tell that things had changed recently between the two. Dae had begun going off on his own more often and for longer periods of time. Khrys was often left at home to tend their child. Khrys never complained, but Kyle could tell she was becoming unhappy. He didn't like to see her like that...

He remembered also the fun times. But mainly he recalled the times Khrys helped him deal with his problems and wished he could help her... but she was gone now, and he wasn't even sure if she would be back.

"May Paladine guide you back to us soon, my Sister.."
