The Details of the Baron Challenge are as follows.
Huma's colors are of Questrion, Silver and Black, along with his own of Maze and Blue.
Huma stands, as ever, without Second and his lady of Honor is Aja..
Xyclone's colors are Blood Moon on Black.
Goldendust Evermeadow as Second
Lady of Honor is the Goddess Luna...Protector of night and keeper of mysteries.
Xyclone LC Huma HC
Round One: The beginning strikes come fast and hit with fierce precision, the Baron's blade arcs high and we see Xyclone's coming in low. Both score for much first blood.
1 all
Xyclone CP Huma LC
Round Two: Circling carefully, each now quite wary of the other's ability, first blood has come and gone and now the game takes shape...
Switching back, Huma's blade never ceases it's motion and powers down to cut low..
...Xyclone's blade is the best defense, it twirls, catching the glimmer of lanterns, and catches Huma's lowcut as well for advantage.
1 - 1.5 Xyclone after 2
Xyclone DK Huma HC
Round Three: The breeze stirs and the lanterns flicker, still in constant motion the Baron's blade comes up full circle to highcut once more..
..predicting the course of this motion, the Challenger is able to dart down out of that upcoming blade's course. (HC/DK)
1-2 Xyclone
Xyclone CP Huma LC
Round Four: The Baron moves into the next round with a fourth swift power-cut...
..Xyclone has sensed the pattern as simply parries into another advantage position.
1 - 2.5 Xyclone at 4th.
Xyclone DK Huma SH
Round Five: The course of the duel finally shifts, but this time with no score gained, Xyclone, wary of 5th cut chooses to duck once more, but he only gains a better view of the Baron's stophit.
1-2.5 Xyclone at 5th
Xyclone TH Huma LC
Round Six: Stophit, being the target-like position that it is..poses a new problem for
the Baron. Indeed, now he sees the Challenger lunging in with his thrust..
..but alas, without proper time to repair that stophit, all the Baron can move into is a lowcut, ...Xyclone takes this point.
1-3.5 Xyclone
Xyclone DK Huma FCP
Round Seven: The Baron sees defense as his best option and displays his fancy circ
parry to ward off attack...
But tonight the tides pull under the Blood Moon, sending Xyclone the message to duck.
His obedience earns him yet another advantage.
1 - 4 Xyclone at 7th.
Xyclone LC Huma LC
Round Eight: Both duelists strive to be the next to hit, with the duel hanging in the
balance... Huma reaches in with a lowcut...
..all our ears are met with the crashing of steel on steel, Xyclone has met him with a rival'n lowcut. No points.
1-4 Xyclone at 8th
Xyclone SH Huma FSS
Round Nine: Only a bit of delay now as both duelists expect a thrust that never comes.
Xyclone stophits and watches the Baron Fancy sidestep aside...perhaps positioning himself for the next round.
1-4 Xyclone at 9th
Xyclone TH Huma FCP
Round Ten: Ah, but wait.. the Baron is not to be denied just yet... Xyclone's thrust is
foiled and his blade is wrenched from his grasp through the fury of a professionally fancy circular parry.
2 - 4 Xyclone at 10th
Xyclone LC Huma TH
Round Eleven: The two circle carefully...each seeming equal in intent for the possession of the 4th ring.....
..Huma gathers himself and moves forward... Xyclone does likewise....
...when the dust clears...
..we see that it's Xyclone impaled on the point of the Baron's thrust. (Th/Lc)
3 - 4 Xyclone at 11th
Xyclone DK Huma FSS
Round Twelve: It has been a valiant showing by both Baron and Challenger...
..both duelists begin to feel the strain of the match..
..Xyclone tries a fateful fourth duck... but Huma has but Fancy Sidestep'd aside.
Another point-free round.
3 -4 Xyclone
Xyclone TH Huma SH
Round Thirteen: Curious to note that had Xyclone fancied, the ring would already be his
own. His reasons his own of course, for who are we to ponder such things.
Things be'n as they are... we come up on a sudden death situation. Huma has stophit
Xyclone's thrust for the tie'n point.
4 all
Xyclone DK Huma LC
Round Fourteen: This has been an excellent showing and the last round does not disappoint us.
The Challenger moves into his 5th duck, but Huma reads well into that and swipes down to lowcut for the point and the win to retain the Fourth Ring!
5-4 Huma at 14th.
HumaDragbn def. Xyclone, 5-4 in 14 rounds.
I am,
Luthien

::Lays Charlie to her bed, lightly brushing her lips with her fingertips. Turns to Jeff, smiling as she pulls the covers up gently around him a sense of well being filling her after witnessing the nights match. Hesitates, and goes to Jeff's large desk hunting around for bits and pieces of paper. Sits down in the moonlight and composes::

Man, Huma, you put up a grand fight, indeed! Renegade or not, you've proven to be worthy of the ring.
And Xy, it was an incredible match, my friend. You did well.
