Walking Alone

Walking out of the arena, Nateal heads down the street with his dog looking for another place too sleep. He wonders about this land and all who walk it as he checks out a hotel. Renting a room he walks up stairs and sits on the bed. Looking out the window Nateal thinks,"what will the future be for all of us, who will die tomarrow,who will be the next Overlord or even take a ring." Standing he walks to the window and looks out at the clear night.
Being on an never ending journey tires a man after a while and he must stop for a while. He knows that he is not well known in this land but for the people that do know him they tend to think he is another person in this land. Pouring a glass of water he sips it slowly thinking of the past and present. He wonders where his love is, he wonders if he will ever advance in ranks, his world is in a jumble and yet to be sorted out. Lying down he closes his
eyes and tries to sleep, thinking of the future, he falls asleep alone again.
