Return from the Homeland ((Steve))

Steve rode into town exhausted. No soul could ever tell how long he had been riding. Steve found his way to his old home and still found it empty, the landlord having kept his promise to keep it empty for 3 months, and would pay the rent upon his return. He dismounted, tied the horse up, went to pay his debt, then settled back into his home. His first item of business were, of course, the notices to the standings keepers. After those had been
placed in the next day's mail, Steve continued on with messages he would put up on the message boards of the DoS and DoF. The one for the DoS reads likewise:

Patrons of the DoS,

I, Steven Glowacki, have returned to this land after a very exhausting and demanding trip to my homeland in which I found out a great deal about myself, dueling, and life in general, from a few events that I wish not to go into at this moment. Please do not question me as to what all has happened. The experience was traumatic enough the first time. If I had wanted trauma, I would have stayed home. I have returned to have some fun dueling, and I
hope to get some kind of warm reception.

I am sure much has changed in the past 2 months, although I am sure nothing too major could have happened. I am sure the message board archive bureau will have enough information for me, although I write this now without having caught a single glimpse of the board or any of its contents, previous or otherwise.

Anyways, I have never really liked long, drawn out statements when they weren't necessary, so I conclude this statement here. Thank You all in advance....

He then streched out and relaxed for a minute, thinking how wonderful it was to be back in his own home, and to not have have his mind wrenching him apart at the same time. He then did the next logical thing - visit the arena.

((And am I glad to be back. The last two months have been very unkind to me, as I had expected, and it seems that the bulk of it has passed for now. I plan on staying here for awhile now.

For any of you that actually read my writings previously, there is a forth coming story that I have been working on the last few days, but I decided to get back into dueling this week, and that required me postponing the story a few days, or however long it takes me finish it, which I really have no idea. It has been planned out, so I know the storyline, I just need to flush it out and get on the computer. Perhaps I'll release it little by
little...hmm...))
