After viewing 203 South Gardinia Lane, Russel took himself and Lily out to tea."You know," he told her, "You really should get settled down."
A laugh escaped Lily's throat and she said unto him, "I have my eyes open, dear Russel, wide open. But I think I shall never be as happy as you and Bestey." Tea continued onward.
"Thank you Russel, for everything," Lily said as Monsiuer Upsumgrub handed her the keys to the building. He nodded and left her at the door.
The fée turned around and opened the door, stepped inside, then slammed it behind her. She made her way to the stair and up she went to the dusty penthouse. When she reached the top Lily muttered softly, "This place needs a lot of work."
Lily threw her "Team Slasher" jacket onto a crate not too far off and then clapped her hands. Suddenly a duster appeared in her hand, "Must I do the work, can't you do it?" The duster nodded (or as much as a duster can) and started to work at the cobwebs.
Next the pixie grabbed the broom and sent it to work sweeping the dirt off the floor, a dustpan followed after it. Following them was the mop. Lily nodded and stepped into the room on her left.
It was the bedroom. An old canopy bed was rested with the head against the back wall, next to a large window which looked out to the street. A beureau rested next to a walk-in closet. There was a nightstand near the beaureau accompanied with a mirror and chair. As Lily went around inspecting the room she pulled the old white sheets off the furniture and let it rest on the dusty, fuzzy, old carpet.
After everything was uncovered she conjured up a wet rag and went to the window. Just with one light stroke there was a huge bolt of sunlight streaking through the window into the room. She hurriedly cleaned the window and then threw it upward, letting a huge gust of wind air out the room. At that moment she saw the duster enter so she moved out.
Right at that moment, as she stood in the hall, she realized what a long haul it was going to be.

"I'll miss you," Dae told her in the arena. Upon hearing those words she jammed out of the arena quickly. She was tired and didn't know if she wanted to hear it. She flagged down a coach and it took her to her new home.
She kicked the front door when it wouldn't budge. As soo nas she was in she set about getting some oil to fix the hinges and lock. Within a few minutes she had that coasted.
She moved back upstairs and into her bedroom. As Lily crossed from the hall to the bedroom she noticed a rip in the carpet and a red-brown glow underneath it. She kneeled beside the rip and tugged at it. A gasp was released from her throat. Beneath the carpet was the most gorgeous cherry-wood flooring. She rose and got her magicness put together. With lots of mental power and strength she shred the carpet from the floor, cleaned and polished the
wood, and made everything normal.
After that was finished she decided to go duel some more.

"Uuggnnhhhh...." the fairy groaned as she rolled out of her bed at the Golden Ivy Tavern. With haste she moved into a bathrobe and slipepd downstairs to get some breakfast.
It was almost noontime when she left the Inn, decked out in her jacket with matching hat. She wandered along the streets of Rhydin, talking with strangers, buying different goods, flirting with the handsome and "helping" the few naive she met.
To her utmost surprise she found herself in front of her new residence. "Well hmph!" she exclaimed, "Never thought I'd get attached, but it seems I have."
She barged into the building and up to the penthouse. Her bright eyes passed along the now clean walls. She decided it was time for decorating.
Lily started with her bedroom, letting magic be her best friend of course. First on the canopy bed she put an ivory satin covering with matching sheets. On top of the sheets she placed lavish velvet pillows made with deep, lush colors.
Atop the beureau she placed a tiffany shade lamp and some other odd objects. She did the same with all the otehr objects in the house. She added colorful drapes and lamps, pillows and carpets galore! For a finishing touch she had fresh flowers located all around the apartment. She nodded, pleased with her work.
With a content sigh, the pixie collapsed onto a newly decorated couch. "Well Lily lovely," she told herself, "Seems like we're pulling through. Yet, then again, this is only the beginning."

Finally the first night of dueling of the week. Lily clashed swords wtih two men, and was danged proud of herself when she won a duel with a slash.
Upon exiting the arena that evening, Lily felt a strange emptiness within her. Her puzzle was missing a piece, her graveyard had an empty coffin, her harp was msising a string, her book was missing a page, her...you get the idea...
The fée wrapped her arm around her tiny waist and squeezed. The empty feeling was not a pleasant one. With a snail-slow pace she walked home, arms still squeezing her abdominals.
*Click* *Click* went the lock to the front door of the soon to be "Le Petite Café Lesprit". Lily banged her delicate hips against the door, sending it forward. She stepped inside and smiled. The past few days she had been cleaning up the apartment, today she was able to work on the main floor.
That morning she had shoved all the unnecessary things out. She took a broom and swept the whole floor and ended up with a good 20 oz. of dust. It was disgusting.
Next she grabbed a mop, figuring her magic wasn't worth wasting, and went to work. She mopped the floors until they shone like gems. The floors were such an attractive color, she just couldn't expect anything less.
All her day had been like that, and her work had been proven worth it. When she walked in she was quite proud to be the owner of 203 South Gardinia Lane.
She made her way up the stairs wtih a footslog fashion. Lily then made her way into the bedroom and flopped onto her canopy bed next to a pile of papers.
The pixie turned on her side and picked up the papers, a fountain pen in hand. She glanced over a few of them, leaving marks here and there.
A sudden 'Cuckoo!' rang. It was eleven o'clock. She put out the bedside candle and drifted to sleep in her clothing.

Lily ran out of the annex, close to tears.
"Why don't you stay outta things?" "No...Lily" "She's such a barwench." All these phrases of the past suddenly came to her mind. She screamed into the night streets, "Leave me alone! Just...just...let me be ME!"
A city patrolman glanced at her. "Miss?" he asked, "Will you quiet down? I would hate to throw a lovely thing like you into the big house fer the night." Lily just flashed an inappropriate hand gesture.
Next thing she remembered she was in a cold cellar. She shivered and pulled her jacket around her. What had she done? How could she have been SO stupid? Lords...how was she to get out of this? Soon she fell asleep, questions rang through her head through her slumber still.

"Madmoiselle Lesprit, last night was just a warning," the Chief of Police told her that morning, "If we here anything of the sort of that having happened again, you will be put on trial."
She had had a treacherous night. The cell was freezing and she had not exactly winter type clothing on. When te sun rose, it flashes the brightest sunlight into her eyes, blinding her temporarily.
When she stepped from the Police Station and onto the street, she felt very alone and empty. Lily wandered along the streets aimlessly, uncried tears clogging her eyes. Her feet stopped and she sat on a street curb.
Almost two hours later the pixie picked herself up and dusted herself off. 'What am I going to do?'

The petite fée sat at her desk, drooling over contracts with co-ops and chefs and so many other things. She glanced at the small clock at her side and then leaped up to get ready for Khrys's wedding.
The wedding was beautiful. For some odd reasons, she felt like she was the only person who didn't choke on their own tears at weddings. Perhaps if she aged a little more she'd be able to figure it out.
She left the wedding and then immediately headed for the Annex. She whipped out a certain letter she had received earlier. Business was nothing what she'd thought it would be.
