She'd been back for a while. The arena remained unchanged, her friends still had a smile for her. Her brother was happy to see her and she learned she had a nephew.
All and all, it would seem her life had not changed much. Until you looked at her house, and the change that had taken place.
Huma no longer came home to her at night, and she had a son to care for now. Little Trevor was growing by leaps and bounds. Keeping her busy all day, allowing little time to sit back and think about much of the events.
Ballentyne was everything she had dreamed. AJ had arranged a guide to show her around the land, and answer any questions she might have had. But one look at the place and she knew in her heart, she was home. She belonged there.
But a strong pull led her back to RhyDin and the arena. One she couldn't exactly describe in words, she just knew she had to return for a while.
Hoping the Fates weren't playing a trick on her, she headed back to the arena, to her family and friends. Praying that the Fates would make clear to her what was to be done.

After finishing his shift, Huma returns to his new home, his bar. He had seen Aja earlier, and after giving it much thought, is still in the dark as to why she left him. Shrugging, Huma poured himself a shot as he readied for bed. He drank the shot of whiskey down, then as he layed down, he sat the glass next to his cot while pulling his blanket over him. Huma drifted off into dreamland wondering. "Why did she leave me?"
