I am overjoyed to find the apparent contempt in your previous missive was not your intent. I must say however, that if you wish those who frequent this cork board not to read into your missives things you did not actually mean, then perhaps you should chose your words with greater care. The nature of written communication is such that those reading it must, from time to time, draw upon the implications made. For myself, and doubtless others, I
have not the time to waste in tracking you down and questioning each spattering of poorly worded phrases.



For my misinterpretation, you might note that contained within the missive in question you (a) gift us with the opinion that the entire discussion is moot yet (b) pen your own take on the events. To call a discussion moot yet add in your own mind, generally means one of three things:



(a) The author holds his own opinion in such high regard that, despite his feelings of the discussion being wasted by others, his own opinion on the matter is wholly valid.

(b) The author is himself a hypocrite

(c) The author generally isn't paying much attention to what he is writing.



Now, you and I have been through the hypocrite debate and I figured I'd give you the benefit of the doubt this time around. I chose the foremost of the options based partially on your preliminary statements regarding the importance of having a statement from the Barons or Overlord as to whether a council shall be held... (despite the fact that the last time the council convened no notice was given to the "lower ranks" whatsoever... but that is
neither here nor there.) I find that the assumption I made was that you were indeed paying attention to the missive you were writing and for that I must apologize.



Regarding the attachment of my posterior, I would advise you not to allow your pen to make threats that your blade cannot back up. As my record against you is flawless and you'd not have Dalamar's assistance in this matter, I find myself amused rather than intimidated. Perhaps you should save this bit of Valheru charm for an Elf more likely to shudder.



In closing, lest this statement be lost among the others, I would like to reiterate that I am happy to have misconstrued your original statement. Even you must admit to retaining a certain level of arrogance, but I am pleased to see its level does not raise as high as I had gleaned from that missive. You do have my apologies for misstating that it did.
