;:reads Sid's post and nods::

It should be known that I witnessed the Baron Darkness in teh Arena not Two Hours before teh scheduled match. If there was a problem for him, he should have come to me at that time. As he did not, he should suffer the consequences. And that will happen upon teh decision of the council, whatever that may be. I would like to state that no matter teh decision made, I doubt I'll be totally satisfied with it, as the only result I would have liked to
see is the actual match taking place at teh appointed time.

"Children that write" ::chuckles and writes::

Reasons aside, Sidartha. The challenge was set by the Baron who has not shown, the only thing a baron is required to do is answer and duel any who challenge for their ring.

I believe that the draconian is correct. The counsel should leave the ring Vacant, not to punish Tom or G'nort, both of which are fine duelers, but as a reminder that challenges should not be taken lightly by the challengee or the challenger.

But perhaps that is just me.

Constant,

Well, everybody,

If you think I have treated the ring wrong, I don't blame you. But if you think that I intentionally missed the matches you are far from right. I wasn't able to come. There isn't much else to say. I tried but I was prevented. ((My modem would not connect to AoL when I tried to get on at about 6:10)) Anyway, I am sorry to all involved and I do hope that some of those I consider friends will forgive me.

::just has to ask::

You tried and were prevented? Come on, if you were going to lie, you could have at least made up an excuse for not being there, Darkness. Try again.. why weren't you there? I'm certainly more curious now.

You haff a big mouth Ace, and I am tired of yer disrespect to these folk, these boards and more so this lass, Kayre. I dinna take kindly to a man insultin a lady in a public manner such as this, nor at'all for tha' matter. Ye need tae be apologizin or ye will nae find anyone other than yer wee lads tae even acknowledge ye exist. If'n ye haff a problem with tha' I am nae hard tae find. Ye ken?

Jak, Tom... look past Ace's personality and listen to what he is saying. Karye accused Darkness of being a liar. I'm sorry but for someone to just post publicy with no proof that someone is a liar is pretty low and Ace is trying to defend Darkness. Ask yourself if you would do the same before you start bashing someone.

::reads Fala's post and ponders the validity of his statement, rifles through the posts below and re-reads Kayre's, after a moments consideration he pens a response:::

Lord Dalegate, I see you have brought something to mind that I did over look and that was the crux of Kayre's message. In retrospect I did fly off the handle and do herby apologize for the rash tyrade. Although I still feel that Ace has no business treating the lady thusly, she did bring the Barons honor into question and if Ace is his friend, there might be cause to come to his defense. For the hasty response I do apologize, for my opinion of the
man I do not.

Well worded Seamus.
If my words seem to have questioned Baron Rand's honor, I apologize, as well. Many times I jump to conclusions, and since we're all equal (disregarding rank), we all have the right to state our case before one says "condemned" or "commended".

My humblest apologies, to many.
Respectfully,

Anyone who thinks that I will apologize, obviously doesn't know me at all. For as long as I have been around I have never apologized for what I have said. It might have been rude and disrespectfull, but I simply stated my opinions and thoughts. And as for insulting whats-her-name, it's not about the insult you are mad about, it's because I insulted a lady. To me it doesn't matter if it was a lady or a man. In fact, to me it does not seem right that
because you are of one gender, no one from the oposite gender can insult you. Ladies are not fragile and small. They do not have to be treated as if they were. But if they want to act that way...fine. But don't expect me to play along.

Actually, Ace...

What we're offended by is the fact that you're drinking water, eating food, and breathing oxygen that could be better put to use by common street vermin. Thus far, I've seen no evidence that your existence in any way benefits society, and can think of several tyrannies where you'd simply be put to death in order to save the populace from your ravings.

Have a nice day.
