I'm done even trying.

Var your an idiot.

Childish or not, its mine. And I'm not changing how I am to appease you or anyone. If Dal came to me and asked to switch back, I might, but he won't because he knows its nothing personal.

Billy Ray once was a renegade and held ques, you didn't open your mouth then. So go to hell okay?

Var,

< Shut ye mouths and just challenge him, alright?!?!?!<
<I guess you still don't get it, Evan. I'm not going to challenge him just because he's bored.>

I do Var. Who said I was talking about you anyway? I was telling poeple to challenge him in genral. This needless fighting over *tring* to get challenges is sad.

Take care Var,

I do not understand Adonai's reasoning but will not hold any resentment for his desision.

Var , I am proud to call ye friend and applaud your standing up for your principals; However..... I am do not understand your resentment for the barrons decision. If he wants to change his loyalty then I think you nor any will change his view. I just wish the words of anger would stop.

My thoughts:

You know, I can understand how someone can get bored because of a lack of challenges. After all, when someone does challenge, there's usually assumed to be some motive behind it, and if no one has a motive to challenge, then the challenge is looked down upon by the community. So, maybe no one has the motive to challenge Adonai, and fears a public reprisal by making a challenge for no reason. So, now, Adonai is giving them a reason.

Just a thought.

Yeah um Var,

You seem concerned with the number of challenges that Adonai has recieved. You've gone as far as to *infer* that his efforts have been a failure. Perhaps though, it is *your* efforts to inspire some sort of hostility to Adonai that have failed. In short...instead of trying to provoke others in to challenging, an act that you seem to feel Adonai went the wrong way about doing, get your behind in gear, get some PW's, and CHALLENGE. Since this
notion seems to appaul you so much, resort to an even simpler solution......

End it.

Ken,
I asked the question once. I'm not so concerned about how "successful" it's been. How many of these postings have you read? I have already challenged, and I challenged Duke Leto Covington, former overlord and noble dueler.
After I even asked the question as to how many challenges he recieved, I stopped it there. In essence, I did end it.
Now because you keep telling me to challenge, I will say, again and again and again, why I am not challenging him. I'm saying it on these boards because my point hasn't gotten through to many.
I'm not here to entertain you, Adonai, or anyone else. If someone changes loyalty to get some "excitement" in a duel, I won't make any effort to give this person what they want. I've used this analogy time and time again; I'm not going to give the kid a cookie just because he's kicking and screaming.

I ask this of you, Ken: read my postings more carefully. I've said in the last four or five postings why I'm not going to put on a top hat and dance shoes and give Adonai his jollies. Admittedly, I got Seamus involved initially, and I truly regret insulting him publicly.
Now I did drop this, and I'm going to drop this again. If anyone else wants to accuse me of something, or they want to propose me challenging when I've already challenged for a different ring, I'll post again.

Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Var Medici-Giovanni

Ken,

Are you challening? Are you even going to make Warlord some time soon? Hell, try it your self. But intill you do so, don't dis others. Var was just stating a point, same as I am. Now I ask, gain your peers and challenge him. Don't tell others to do things when you have not done them and know nothing of it.

Didn't Dal say that the discussion was over?

And since he was the one who was the supposed target of the supposed slight, shouldn't we do what he asks and drop the subject?

Var,

Your the one sounding like the whining crying child wanting another cookie. I wasn't trying to insult you. I was trying to share some constructive critism and show you a way honorable men handle a dispute.

Problem with most duelers is they would rather fling wounds by the mouth rather then the blade. This is a sport of warriors, not a nieghborhood discussion commitee. You got a problem with a title holder, challenge them and take thier title from them. Seems to make a prolific enough statement.
