Baron.......yes Baron....for I knew you as such when I appeared in Rhydin.......and I knew you as such when I heard of thy retirement..........I shall miss crossing blades with you. Your not only a remarkable dueler in the rings but a man who has conducted himself with honor and dignity. I am saddend by your departure but feel privaleged to have known you. I only hope that when my "day of retirement" arrives..........that I will have earned the "respect" of the patrons of DoS which you have earned and
rightfully so............You have set a standard as a person and a dueler that will be tough to match or compare. May God Bless You and Summer all the remaining days of your lives.........and may Peace shadow you like a dove.

Defender of the 2nd Ring
Loyal Baron to Dalamar

::finds that his abbesnce from the ring had let many things to go wrong, now wonders if there was anything that he could of done to stop them if he had been here. Looking upon all the notes, reading each word for word, listening to each voice and heart behind the words, Tass reasized that he could do nothing, and mayhaps all the better::
Jeff, dear brother....
I know that you may never read the words that are posted upon you missive, and that you may already know what each say in part, but know as well, if you do ever read the responses to your letter, that you will be dearly missed, by all in the rings. I was there well before you started, and it seems that I will be here long after you have left...mayhaps you will one day return, and I know that I will be here when you do, mayhaps I will be of some rank then. Being a commoner for over 4 years is not a
easy thing, but I seem to have made it look it. Jeff, you have done so much for this kender, that I have found myself at a loss of words. You are the one that has shone many the true way in the rings...you are the one that has shown the good of the sport...you are the one that has shown me how to be me, not what everyone else wants me to be. I thank you...I have always considered my brother...not of blade, not of blood, but of heart, and soul. You put me into the CoV...you stood by my name. And for
that I have shown you nothing but admiration and respect. I will always protect your name, you, and your love, Summer. I have, and will, risk everything to aid you in all that I can. Material things mean nothing compaired to the friendship that can be shaped. You place here in the Rings will always be held, and mayhaps, one day, I will wear your Ring, and hold it till you return...and hopefully, return for good.
Your Brother...

What can I say that hasn't already been said? You'll be missed, but you know that...
I only hope you come back soon, and until then I hope to see you around...
