That afternoon Lily had sent Farris back to Russel. She didn't want to deal with it.
That evening more and more pain just flooded into her veins until she could stand no more. She fled the arena quite calmly and to returned to 203 South Gardenia Lane.
She flung herself onto her bed. Tears cascaded down her face, causing her skin to blotch and eyes to swell. As the fairy cried into her pillow, she tried to ponder why she was crying. Was she hurt? or was it she was facing her plain stupidity?
Soon she drifted off into slumber.
All alone.

She awoke not too long after drifting asleep. Then she wandered back to the arena to see what lay ahead for her.
(Author's note: Stick with me folks, I'm running dry for a bit.)

"Next!" Lily belted out. In the middle of the night she had sent the local paper (not the DN) an add stating that she was looking for a cook. When she awoke that morning she already saw a line of people at her door, waiting for the interview.
The thirty-fourth woman came in and spoke immediately, "My name is Halona Busnik."
Soon came the thirty-fifth, then the thirty-sixth and so on. The fairy grumbled slightly.
Then, she came in. A woman of about five and a half feet. She was slightly plump. Her hair was a messy bundle of rust and silvers settled atop her head. Twinkling brown eyes and a large smile emphasized her welcoming look. A few wrinkles proved her to be an aged woman, yet she had a slight girly touch it seemed.
"Name?"
"Valerye MacThumpson."
The fairy glanced up at her, " Do you have experience in the line of work?"
Valerye nodded. The interview continued for about another forty minutes. Lily was decided, this woman was the one.
"You have the job. Please give me one moment."
The pixie went outside and slammed a ntoe on her door. It read:
"Sorry, position has been filled."
