Over Lord Challenge, a new piece to the puzzle

Ais looks to the window as a soft thud hit the sill. She giggles and turns back to her puzzle, Drak cuddling up wordlessly in the warm afternoon sun. Below Randy shouts as he leaps out of the tree house, the rope swing sending him into the sky, "Hardee, Har, Har! I will fly through the wind and get you, you lily livered girl bat"

Dal, who had been rubbing against Randy's boots before he leaped, strutted over to the window sill, curling up next to Drak. Ais scratched Dal between the ears, noticing how his raggedy orange fur seemed a bit sleeker since he came to live with them. She received a satisfying rumble in return. Bored, she returned to the puzzle scraps scattered over the top of the Pirate's plank. She quickly began to assemblethe paper scraps she had found under
the missives tacked up about papa's challenge.

"What you doing 'Slainy?" Rhi popped up from the floor of the Tree House, deftly sidestepping Randy as he swung back. Randy let a lazy boot slide out as if to send Rhi into a tumble. Rhi stuck out her tongue at Randy then forgot about Aislain as she joined Randy on the swing.

The afternoon shadows grew long, and when Aislain looked up, everyone had left. She sat back on her heels, her liquid black eyes widening as she read the two letters:

M'lady Helix and Honored Goldendust,

Below you will find a copy of a missive I intend to deliver to the Baron Adonai Uziel. I come to ye first for several reasons afore I place the letter in Baron Uziel's hands. The main one being I do not wish to be part of a queue, so if this would not be the first missive ye have received then I will not deliver the intended challenge to the Baron. I state this because I do not wish to jeopardize my 40+ amassed peer wins when I may not even
get a chance to enter the ring. Please let me know at your earliest convenience, so I can deliver the missive to the Baron if needed. Following are some of my peer wins, and I apologize for the date on them, but I quit keeping track of them after 30 or so, and only recently began to log them again.
Many more are available if it comes ye need them.

Respectfully,

Mathias DeWinter

Adonai,

I guess I should address this to Baron Adonai Uziel, but that sounds so formal, and as one who would call ye friend it seems wrong. I of course have noted ye're desire for a challenge, and believe I may be able to provide the stiff challenge ye desire. Due to the amount of peer wins I have amassed since I have never challenged afore, I will not enter a queue and have received assurances from the DoS officials that I am the first to approach
ye. Though at times I have not agreed with ye're words, I have not judged ye by them. I would not step forth had ye not requested amusement for I do not desire to get caught up in debates that have become the norm on challenges. I hope ye will accept this request for challenge for what it is, and not look beyond that. If I did not think I could make ye break a sweat at least and get ye're blood boiling again, I would not be writing this.
Whatever the outcome, I wish ye luck in life and in the ring.

Sincerely,

Mathias DeWinter

P.S. I waited until ye're change in alignment became official on the standings to avoid questions by others.

Aislain looked out the window, the setting sun bathing her in a gold light of realization. She quickly gathered up the pieces and left.
