Regarding the Fourth (Steve)

This has absolutely nothing to do with this particular challenge, but since the thread does say "Regarding the Fourth", and this note is regarding the 4th in a way, and since I can't find the results of the previous match anywhere on the boards, I'm posting this useless point of information you probably don't care about under this thread.



With Daegarth's defeat, I now notice that he is now the immediately previous holder of three different rings: the 2nd, held by AJ, the 8th, held by Jeff, and now the 4th, held by Zen. This seems to be rather interesting circumstance that has not been "accomplished" previously in history (Jeff was immediate predecessor of two holders twice, but never 3 at the same time), and will be difficult to be repeated. I don't know if I should praise
Daegarth, or console him.



Another intersting fact that you probably don't care much about is that the day Adeena lost the 4th ring which ended her reign that stands now as the longest ever, AJ gained the 2nd ring (from Daegarth), and now looks to pass Adeena's mark. An interesting coincidence. Life just seems to be full of them. Perhaps it is a coincidence as well that 5 Barons have lost their rings. Perhaps it is a sign of things to come.



Not that anyone cares what I say anyways.

Yeah, just think that if AJay hadn't defended against 2 Challenges it would have been a complete overhaul for the barons council

Steve,



Ecore held the 5th, 8th, and 9th rings seperatetly.



Iain MacKenzie has also held three different rings.



Daegarth has held three different rings, but Baron four times.



Jeffery has held I think only 2 seperate rings, but been Baron probably a bazillion times.

Hey Avery...

A point of information.
The Ring Ajay was defending was -not- his own... he was defending the ring declared vacant by the Baron's Council at -their- behest. The Council -was- effected by that challenge, in that the Ring remains empty until the end of this cycle.
I'm posting this so that people will know that, though Ajay fought well, he had -nothing- at stake in those matches.

A change to announce:

Luthien will not be available for our match Sunday, so AJ Bird has agreed to call it.

All the other details are the same: Sunday, June 28, the Annex, 9 PM Eastern.
