An Urge for Public Service.

::a bold-face, printed notice, tacked up to the board, many copies have been posted around the Inn::

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Rings:

As I celebrate my time as Baron, I feel that the grace of the title mandates that I return something to the community. Certainly the "little people" of the community, whom I adore so dearly, deserve something from the man in his 15 minutes of fame.
So, I've decided on a plan of community action. Ladies and Gentlemen, for the next week, I'll be offering a special deal.

For only $2 in Common Currency notes, you can have a real-life Baron wash your Horse's butt!
That's right, I'll be tied up outside the Arena, and whenever your horse needs a good hind-washing, bring it by! Operators will be standing by to force me to do your every bidding with whips and steel-toed boots. Feel free to kick and beat meyourself, I'm a wimp!
Don't delay!

::the signature is quite large and unmistakable::

::Reads the post, frowning::

A baron loyal to the overlord, offering to wash someone's horse? This is, to say the least, an insult to Dalamar, the DoS community, and the rankings themselves, from Commoner to Overlord.
It's not Roland's signature... He always has that aristocratic art surrounding it.
::Doesn't post anything. Decides the child who wrote the post doesn't deserve any attention, until the entire community of DoS finds out who it is... then the person will be sleeping with one eye open, and one hand ready to draw a blade, for the rest of his/her life::

::a large, deep crimson colored mare is led in hand, sans any tack but a simple leather halter, to the wash area::

"Is this where the generous Baron, Capt. Sal Roa is to wash down my horse?"

::the voice was clear in tone, an air of confidence surrounding the sturdy looking maiden, her inward smirk unseen::

Smiles. Looking through the various posts.

Grins. Looking to the public service notice.

Blinks. Reading further.

Blinks. Reading on.

Blinks again. Finishing....

"Ack!"

Blink. Blink. Smirk.

"Ah well, this ought to go over well with the council"

The ebon-skinned warrior's hollowed eyes are caught by the public service message. He reads it quickly, ivory teeth parting the ebon seas of his lips in the most wicked of smiles. He turns and walks off, in search of a deal on several horses... and a large can of beans to feed them.

This notice is an outrage and I am sure Roland would not have posted such a thing.

::Shrugs and wanders off, wondering where to find the Crimson Fury captain::

::read the post earlier but has a couple of horses::

::writes:: You've got the job! I've got 5 horses, they're all trained, so it shouldn't be hard at all. Thanks!

Just ask me for directions.
