Let's hope that entire post wasn't directed to myself. I know of Phil's past reign, he defeated, the now challenging, Lupton. Holding the ring for nearly a month before losing it to Beka. I also know of the rules. And I know of the rules he neglected. The proper protocal he passed by on his hasty search for a ring. One of which was a new rule, the other, a rule dating back longer than even your current reign. Not only did he not wait
for the weekly postings, he submitted a peer twice... something I believe has been a rule for a good while now. Yet still, mistakes will be mistakes. I forgave him, and even welcomed the friendly competion. But, honestly, I wouldn't want to see him wearing the 12th any time soon. I'm not saying he shouldn't challenge again, or is too unworthy to, I'm saying perhaps he should give it a bit more time. Untill he is completely ready to assume the
responsibilities, then I'll consider a change of mind.

Having been reminded of my own personal decision not to challenge anyone who has not held a ring for at least three months... I'm staying out of this one.

Well I guess da part of da post directed at ya Roland was where ya slandered him and his worth.
Also, I've heard ya might be usin' Dal's protection -- well I've never been one ta respect barons who do but I also keep as quiet as I can most times. But when da challenger is a long time friend like Phil, I don't plan ta be so quiet.

First Roland says, "Personally, if I were in the warlords' shoes, I couldn't bring myself to continue on with the challenge. Not even with a mistake like that, knowingly or not. Its obvious that I wouldn't be a worthy Baron, not even taking the time to double check the rules."

It seems to me, just by common sense, that these two statements are contradictory. Maybe common sense is too "common" for Barons? Not trying to offend anyone, just making an observation.

Some people forget about the dueling part and focus on the politics. I'm a commoner who's gonna be going for grandmaster before the standings update. (almost there, ::wink::) I don't know much about this political stuff, but I feel no mater what people say, they will look up to the baron that has used the blade before his political mouth. Just duel people, its a sport. ::posts up the little note knowing either he's
gonna get yelled at or no ones gonna read it and exits.::
