It is with utmost respect that I state my intention to challenge Zen80s for the right to the 4th Baron's Ring. Let it be known that this challenge is merely for the purposes of testing my strength against his. The challenge in no way indicates that I harbor some sort of ill-will to Baron Zen. As of late, Zen has shown himself to be a forthright individual and a worthy adversary. For the purposes of peer wins they are thus:
Duelist, 4/2/98, RDI Heath, 5-3.5 in 11 rounds.
KnghtVHonR, 4/2/98, RDI Girvin, 5-3 in 6 rounds.

As I have just been informed that my challenge has been approved, I shall now let all know the persons in my party. The Baron AJ has agreed to act as my second in this matter. My maid of honor is to be my fiance', Topaz Eludes. I shall duel with the CrystalBlade obtained in my home world of Thardin. As for colors, I duel under a flag of black and red with a gold bird of prey and a jade border. The new standard for my family which incorporates
the colors of House Atrebla and my family's ancestral crest.

I don't doubt you could beat me on any given night, but to say that you goofed up and that's the only reason you lost is ridiculous. I guess it's just assumed I couldn't have won

Can ya predict how Zen would have dueled had yer second guess not occured in *one* round?
And even if rings could belong ta *one* person, some would base it on length of tenure not defenses. We all know ya love da ring, but give it a rest, a loss is a loss. Keep tryin' ta get it back, but don't badmouth people dat get in da way of yer goal.

At present, 12 people have achieved the right and priviledge to wear the Baronial rings of DoS as representives of this sport. However, duelers come and go and the Baronial rings of DoS shall always remain the property and ownership of the Duel of Swords, never to one
individual. While I am sure certain individuals may feel more entitled to certain titles and thier symbols of title then others, as always such rights are determined by one method. By the skill of one's blade when the time counts to prove yourself worthy to earn the right and priviledge to wear a Baronial Ring of DoS. Until such time, without said titles or thier symbolic jewelery to prove you are indeed worthy to call it yours temporarily, you
are nothing more and nothing less then another dueler of Swords.
