Ok, lets all gang up on me now...ok, lemme start from the top,

Zen....I seconded guessed myself and went against every basic dueling instinct I know of when we faced each other. Had I acted normal, I could have and can, beat you, on any given night. I am *letting* you keep the ring as long as you can because of the loss I have already recieved. For my poor attempt, I promised myself I would not bother you. Be advised tho, I am subject to change my mind at any given moment depending solely on you.

Jeff, 5.5-0? yep, that's right, and if you ask AJ, I called the last two rounds to him with my moves. I knew what was going to happen long before Zen had decided what he would do from round to round, *and* you have been here long enough to KNOW that, once in a while just ONE tiny mistake can and sometimes will turn into a shut out. Now, before you start going off on me Jeff, lets look at you..how many times have you had to reclaim a ring? Three?
Four? I do know you defended many times, but you lost almost as many...usually to Elissa. So, my point? My point is that you know. Nuff said.

Var, if Zen can defend the fourth ring five or more times, then by all means I would feel he has more than earned the right to declare the ring his. So, untill he supasses my number of defenses, it is in my opinion, *my* ring. He is just "keeping it warm". Now, something I want to point out. When Nova lost the 6th, Adeena came back and declared the ring "hers"...how many people said to her "You don't have the ring, so how can you say it's yours?"
Ho many people told her that? Not very many I would say. I try not to venture my opinions, but to any who would say nothing to Adeena, who we all know is a fine dueler who has her bad nights like the rest of us, anyway, anyone who would not say anything to her, and *would* say the fourth can not be declared mine...I say.."Hypocrit" Now..*NOTE* I am not pointing fingers at any here, mainly cause I didn't pay much attention to when Adeena got the sixth
back. On that subject...nuff said.

Baph, to some extent, you are right. I consider the fourth mine for personal reasons i do not wish to share with anyone. Within respect, all the formers holders of each ring do have claim to it, BUT, in my opinion..he who defends it the most gets the right to say it is thiers.

and with that...

Huma,

Ya missed da ENTIRE point of my post. My challenge record happens ta be 13-6, and I never once said it was impressive. I keep challengin cause I wanna be baron, and as da challenger I am 6-1, so when I lose I just get it right back and continue havin' fun.

Now my point was ya disrespected Zen, and yer full of it if ya believe dat shutout came from one misplayed round. Sure anyone can beat anyone on any night, but he outdueled ya plain and simple, not outdueled ya one round, outdueled ya in da WHOLE match.

Also, don't ever even imply anythin' about my dueling skills as based on # of losses. Sure I've lost a ton of duels, but I have won a ton too. Ya need a wicked winning percentage ta keep gaining WoLs, not just a lot of duels. If ya only win 2/3s of yer duels after 30 matches ya only got 10 WoLs. So before ya talk about how much I lose, before ya tell me how much I know about losing, look at yer 21 WoLs.

I never like ta talk about my record, and I never say record speaks of skill, but I've beaten ya so many times in da rings, I'm really getting tired of yer crap.

~J

PS: I speak out cause I want ta, I'm ready ta be flamed. Period.

It's time I said something...

More than three quarters of the time, I could really care less who holds what ring, or who is challenging which Baron... In the long run, like Baphe said, it doesn't really matter that much. For some, it's a matter of making a mark... for others, it's about pride... and sometimes, it's about honor.
Personally, I've thought about issuing a challenge once or twice... I might even do it one day... but if I win, I will be the Holder of whichever ring I win. Because nothing lasts forever.
Thank you for your time.

Huma,

By no strecth of the imagination am I a friend to Zen, but for crying out loud give the guy some credit. He totally dominated the match with you and deserves more respect than what you've given him. So what if you made mistakes, he captialized on them. If you're so confident that he won due to your having an off night, challenge him again, we'll all understand.

One last thing before I sign off. I really do hate seeing shutouts and I hate being involved in them, on either end. When I'm on the winning end I try to stay polite and not seem arrogant. When I'm on the losing end, I keep my mouth shut and swallow the bitter pill of humility. No one likes the taste but anyone thats been here even a small amount of time has had to learn to suck it up because it happens. One thing I don't understand is why
someone would say they had an off night after being shutout. Kinda like pouring salt into an open wound if you ask me.

Jeff, I did not mean to come across as if *one* round made the shut out. that surely couldn't happen. as far as my example of you, was to point out, we have bad nights. You know that, I know that. I feel *I* lost the duel, Zen didn't win it. How can that happen? simple, when you second guess time and time again, you lose, or in a round about way, just give up the match. in your nearly 400 WoL Jeff, I am sure you know all about going
against instincts from time to time. Disrespecting Zen? And that affects you how? *if* I recall correctly, I won't stand behind this claim totally because I am wrong from time to time, but...I do believe I once seen you disrespect a challenger. I won't swear to that. I lost that duel, that doesn't mean I have to like it right? I typically refrain from saying anything about Zen. Not always, but I do give it a try.I have a ton more to say, but, I feel
it all to be pointless babble. You've set your mind one way, Zen another, and Krollon yet another. So, with that, I'll tuck my pen away. *if* your in the dark about my thoughts and are even remotely curious, you know how to reach me.

I have fought many a grudge match within our honored rings. I have disliked many an opponent dat I have faced within our honored rings. But I have never publically posted dat any one of my losses was due solely ta choices I made, discountin' completely da skill of me opponent. It is da ultimate disrespect, and shows no honor.

Even if ya truely believe it in yer heart dat it was a duel based on yer mistakes, and not his triumphs, have some respect fer da man and do not speak publically of yer beliefs. Ya can stew in yer own juices fer eternity fer all I care, but do not post yer frustration and anger, in doing so ya mock da duelin' skills of da baron who defeated ya in our rings.

Hah.

I sure hope he doesn't come challenge for the ring, because if he really thinks like that, he doesn't deserve it.

I, for one , would like to see the Lady Drake challenge for a ring...I think she would be quite worthy of it.
