::reads of the challenge and insusing responses then stops for a moments research before penning a response::

Good peoples,
I ha'e been called everthin for Jak tae shameless, tae Seamonster Mac Donut. I ha'e always tried tae take it in stride, Can we not put away the bickering for a cycle?
Although the warlord has nae used the Overlaird's proper title, he did in proper fashion, advise the council and the Overlaird, as well as the community of his intentions as he shouldhae.
I ha'e heard thia man called absent, I ha'e heard those tha' dinna know him ask who he is. I tell ye hear and now, I ha'e been duelin this man o' the orient for more than two years. I dueled wi' him afore he gained the rank o' Warlord. I submit this from the two years hence in DoS section
LongWangLo 19: 4: 3 9/17/97
He has always proved both a worthy opponent, as well as an honorable duelist. P'raps we can allow for his mistake, p'raps no, but I would ask ya tae consider that he has earned his right to challenge and none of us are due the harrassment I see given of late.
Not jes to him, but in your responses to eachother.
Tis time tae bury the hatchet, ( and I am noe referring to Chaos.)The duel will be fought, the historian shall record it, and should the man win, he will be Overlaird for a time. Then we can see wha' measure of man he is, for it is the crucible of the public eye, we all are found out for wha we truly are.

When I dueled Warlord Long in the Tourney, I found him to be a skilled opponent, both respectful and honorable. His unusual style caught me off guard and he handily defeated me, but he did not crow about his victory nor condesend towards myself.
When I dueled Warlord Long again just this last Friday, he showed a less serious mein, but just as strong dueling skills. His attitude was one of a person who dueled for the joy of dueling, rather than his previous attitude of one who dueled to win... and the duel was all the more enjoyable for that.
During that duel, he complemented me on the way I'd seemed to adapt to his dueling style, then congratulated me on my win with grace and aplomb.

Sid, you mentioned something about his actions on the second night of the Tourney... as I was defeated in the third round, I spent that night home with my lady and our daughter so I am not aware of the incident(s) of which you speak. Perhaps if you and I discussed this face to face, I might be able to set some of your fears to rest.

Tis always amusing t' read unsigned jottin's, tis further proof 'o yuir cowardice an' insecurity.

Jona,

Fine, I'll say it for him, when you can actually can get some skill with a blade and come earn a tourney prize yourself, you have little creditability in insulting others who did earn their right to claim prizes.

I have a few questions for you Wang...

First off I have always been curious as to where Maxim came from in the first place? Since you say you know, where did it come from?

Second, and this is the one that really gets me, how come you write all of your L's as R's everywhere throughout your letter except your name at the bottom...Why don't you write it as RongWangRo?

Ever curious,
Cletus

Since I am retired now, I will just do my best to avoid all the fighting and maybe I will be able to avoid another stroke. Instead, I will just give everyone involved in the match my best wishes.
Firstly, good luck Long. I have only seen you around once or twice, and I only think we ever dueled the one time. However, I have seen nothing in your demeanor or behavior to make me think that you are in any way unfit to be Overlord. I wish you good luck and a safe duel. May you come through without injury.
Secondly, good luck Magnus. You are a good man and you stand firmly by your beliefs. You are an able duelist, and I know that you always give every match your best effort. I think you will be an excellent Overlord, and I am hoping that you defend successfully. Duel your best, come through without injury, and win.

You're a wuss, G.

I could take them both and you with no hands, a blind fold, restrained legs, and a piece of yarn.
