Choose winners... interesting.

"Overlord: Taylara Lockhorn Tyree vs. Dalamar Ar'Daumon" I truely think people are not giving Taylara enough credit. In the past six months, her dueling has progressed incredibly. I still believe that Dalamar would win this, but only if he took it seriously.

"1st Ring: Deluthan Ev'rt vs. Seamus MacDonnaugh" The Seamus of two years ago was a much more determined and powerful dueler than the more mellow Seamus of today... I hope he gets that fire back. That being said, the old Seamus would thrash Deluthan quite readily.

"2nd Ring: Magnus Eques vs. AJ Bird" This is clear-cut... but only if the match is for the Second Ring. In challenges, AJ is near-impossible to beat. In regular dueling, Magnus would have the edge.

"3rd Ring: Unagi Miyamoto vs. Evan Rush Rynth" Much like the match for the Second Ring, if this were for the Ring itself, Unagi wins cleanly. If not, it becomes more of a toss-up, but Unagi has a slight edge.

"4th Ring: Karen Wilder vs. Zen Rising" The Zen of two years ago was not the same man who was able to climb to Overlord. A good duelist, to be sure, but not the same. Karen, in the few times I've met her, seems to be a very driven individual. If the duel helped her toward any of her goals, she would be very difficult to beat... note her
performance in the recent Tourney. Again, it matters the seriousness of the match. If it's just for fun, Zen wins. If it's over the Rings, Karen wins.

"5th Ring: Leo de Lorenzo vs. Morgan le Fay" Without a doubt, the Morgan of two years ago wins this match. I haven't seen her duel since the TDL finals, but two years ago she was very difficult to stop. Leo is good, but not that good.

"6th Ring:Jeffrey Oakenshield(the Jeff of today) vs. Avery Shiv Blade" Sorry to disappoint, but the Avery of two years ago was not as good as the Avery who made Overlord. Jeff takes this match without much difficulty.

"7th Ring: Dustin Manjahcapery vs. Gen. Perrinis Alabaster" My former husband was a truely fine duelist at that point in his career... and yes, he looks good in a uniform. Dustin is good, but a blow-hard... and Perri always did well against blow-hards.

"8th Ring: Galin Taelca vs. Jeffrey Oakenshield(the Jeff of two years ago)" The Jeff of two years ago, much like Seamus, was a slightly better duelist than the Jeff of today... which leaves Galin, a steady but not inspired duelist, very little chance. Jeff wins quite handily, especially if they're dueling over the Ring.

"9th Ring: Sartan vs. Lupton est Dracoern" I agree that this is a close match... and it comes down to whoever takes it more seriously. If it's over the Ring, Lup wins easily... because he always takes challenge duels seriously. If not, then Sartan has the edge.

"10th Ring: Var Medici-Giovanni vs. Var Medici-Giovanni-yes that was correct." The Var of two years ago would lose. Of course, if this were a duel for the Ring, they would both lose.

"11th Ring: Lucian vs. Gimmzak Stonecutter" Back two years ago, Gimz was a serious threat... if you didn't see him coming. He surprised a number of people in challenge matches and regular dueling... plus did very well in the TDL, when he showed for the matches. If Lucian was prepared, he wins. If not, the Gimz of two years ago wins.

"12th Ring: Ellisa Morgan vs. Roland Sal Roa" The Roland of two years ago was good, but not compared to Ellisa. Unless Ellisa is having a very bad day, she wins this hands-down.

"13th Ring: Drey Der'est Sanchez Starke Legend vs. Leo Caius Cassius Pride" Drey, for all his failings, is a good duelist. Leo relies upon luck and surprise. If Leo managed to get some surprise hits in and fluster Drey's defense skills, then he could win... otherwise Drey wins readily.

Of course, the who thing changes if you take the Council of four years ago as they are today... especially since the Overlord and 4th Ring matches become moot.

Luck, and suprise. Gosh, I'm flattered. I guess people have started to catch on to my slash every other round (every other round being the rounds I dont disengage from my opponent) tactic. Drat.
