I will opt to use a second dictionary, then, for your sake.

Illegal according to WEBSTER:
: not according to or authorized by law : UNLAWFUL, ILLICIT; also : not sanctioned by official rules (as of a game)

It seems pretty straight forward to me.

Funny, too, even the official was deceived enough to even claim it a Baron Vs. Baron challenge.
