The DreamVenturer Jacob Ryleigh exits the arena, lookin about the stillness of the night. A torned & battered body glistenin to the cold chill in the air. Scars seeping over his fragile skin & clothing torned in many different peices. His bandana soaked with blood that covers his severly gashed arm & his hair tangled together with sweat of battle. This warrior was not a pleasant sight for artistic values.

The outside was empty, for the duels had been over for awhile. You could hear the sounds of insects singing in harmony under the moonlight sky. Jake bends down & sits on the ground with his back to the wall & grabs himself a cigerette. The flame of his match sparks against the Tobacco laydin paper, glowing brighly from his heavy intake of its internal chemicals. Leaning his head against the wall & blowing out the heavy mass of smoke that
glides into the calm air.

The week was not good for Jake, not good at all. After entering the arena a month ago & tearing up the place, he truly believed he could take on the world. So close to reaching Warlord status & backing up his words of worthiness to his peers. He slipped back into mediocrity before his could blink his eyes.Yes, The cold reality hit him hard, knocking him down to where he was once before, a swordsman.

His eyes sunken into a blank stare & face showing no signs of emotion; Jake sits motionless in the light breeze that swirls about. Heavy thoughts reside into his mind, bouncing fragmentally in & out, trying to reason with himself & recollect the scattered mess that spins in his head. The reality stuck him down; entagling with his other demons that he has carried unto his shoulders, that he fights to get rid of in his ongoing life.

What has happen to this young man? Was this just one of those nights that nothing could go right. That next time he enters he will be back into his true talented form. Could it be that Jacob doesn't have the talent of his ancestors blood. Maybe, one is of these answers are true, or it might reside deeper into his soul.

The cigerette has burned down to his fingers, not once after his initial spark did he drag off of it again. His fingers open slightly & the cigerette falls to the ground. Reaching into his other pocket he pulls out his trusty friend, an instrument some call a harmonica. Gently placing it against his lips he starts improvising sad RhyDin Melodies. How beautifully the melodies surround the silent air, reverbing back and forth adding to its
haunting chant of Jacobs inner heart. The insects that sung through the night silently listens to the young mans soulful emotions.

The emotions of his past glides through the air, freely roaming about the area looking to be absorbed by anything that would listen. The memories of him & his father going hunting & fishing for food to bring back to his mother. The long days of learnin his fathers talent, who once was a respected knight, in swordmanship & skill. Remembering his mother holding him in her arms after his fathers death & holdin his mother hands in pain when she
passed away from sickness of depression.

Only if someone could experiance the passion of his music at that moment, Even the a harden warrior might shed a tear of sadness & Joy to the songs from the Jakes soul. These vibes slowly changes with uplifting memories of the great battles & Adventures with his honored friends & the memories of the Lexitria ladies that crossed his path. He gently stops his song & pauses for a moment. Trying hard to remember a forgotin memory, on how he found
himself on this land. Then plays on with sadness to the loss of his friends & not knowing if he would ever see them again.

He pounds his harmonica against his forehand & places it back into in pocket & sighs. Thinkin about what he learned just a day ago, about being a marked man from an unknown assasin in RhyDin, knowing any day from now that he may not be roaming this land again. Worrying about not having a home on a daily basis & always short on food. He shakes his head realizing this is the only place where he could truly prove himself & to get away from the
heart aches of RhyDin life. Jacob chuckles at the thought that he might fail to acheive his dreams of greatness in this arena.

He then grabs his Golden Medallion from his neck & looks at it with hope. "I shall never give up mother, I will leave a mark of our great ancestry here in RhyDin. I will prove I come from a great knight & leave a legacy here at the arena. I promise". He releases his medallion & it anchors back around his neck. Jake then helps himself up & looks up to the constellation.

It is such a clear night, you can see all the stars forming patterns in the sky. Yet one star shines brightly from the others. It majikal light cast onto Jakes aura, & fills his heart with hope, for it knows that, if its light is lost from within, then life with fade with it. Jakes breaths deeply & looks towards the direction to his makeshift camp near the river. He grabs a cigerette & lights it, inhaling & exhaling deeply. He chuckles & smirks
to himself, then heads off down the path while the insects continue to chant his melodies of hope.
