Friends and Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
I apologize that I have not responded to the recent posts and opinions until now, but I have been away from RhyDin for a number of days. With that said, here is how I feel.
First, briefly, to those of you who have stood by my and continue to stand by me, I thank you. True loyalty is a bond not easily broken, and I will never desert or turn against those who stick with me through the difficult times, for they are my truly trustworthy friends and compatriots.
Now, to those of you who question my testing Evan and have seen fit to try and "turn the tables" on me, I will not attempt to explain to you my motivations, nor will I question yours. I understand the we simply do not see eye to eye on this issue, and that is inevitable. I will take this opportunity to make the point that I really intended to make.
I have never and will never base my decisions and actions on what will make or keep me "popular." I act in whatever way I believe to be just, and then see where the cards fall.
Also, to those of you who seek to separate loyalty and friendship, I would like to explain how I feel. I do not believe that friendship can exist without loyalty. True loyalty is knowing you would fall on your sword if it would save the life of someone loyal to you. This is the pinnacle of "friendship." What many of you mistake for "friendship" or "loyalty" is merely "being an acquaintance" and "support" respectively. I do not genuinely believe
that either Kalamere or Iain ever felt the true bond of loyalty towards me, or they would not have turned so quickly. (Note to Iain and Kal: This is what I believe, so spare me any responses attempted to address this, cause I will stand firm in what I have said.)
So now, to you and those who feel the same way as you, let it be known that I implore you to challenge me for my title. I *will not* post again on this matter as long as I live. I will not hide behind words. I will fight each of you in the format I see fit, and let Vengeance speak for me. Remember, this is still a "sport" and you can argue, undermine me, and try to remove loyals all you wish. But the only way any of the various people who see
fit to do nothing by complain will ever accomplish anything is to *defeat me*. So let's get it over with.
