First Challenge for Baron

Well folks...I feel it is my time. I feel up to the task, and testing my skill, to become a Baron. And who better to face, than the one who so graciously defended his ring, on this very evening....none other than Lupton. So, I hereby challenge Lupton for the right to wear the 4th Baron's ring of the Duel of Swords. Since this is my first challenge, forgive me if I leave anything out. A list of peer wins is below (yes, I do have the dates), and my colors, second, and lady of honor will be announced
later, if I have any. I leave Lupton to the task of choosing the time and date, and I to chose an official to call for us, upon his accepting my challenge.( I think that is how it works )

Phil, ye did forget one minor little thing. Ye forgot to send me a letter. If I had nae been so graciously informed by the lady Khrysta I may have never known of your challenge. I am rather unhappy, honestly, at being challenged by one who cannot even take the time to read the rules of the sport. Please reread them and if ye still feel as if ye are worthy of being a Baron, redo your challenge.

Anyways...in a challenge between me best man and swordbrother, I'm gonna head fer da hills and not root against either, had enough of dat in da past Good luck Phil in huntin' fer yer first ring, Good luck Lupton in seekin' yer 4th defense. Phil,
It was obvious to any person of seemingly average intelligence that my use of the words "little" and "minor" were blatant uses of sarcasm. I still am yet to receive a formal missive of challenge, though I did receive your apology and you saying "you know of the challenge." It is truly a shame. I realize that this is your first challenge, but one would think they ye would use common sense (or less obviously, the rules of the sport) and send the Baron ye are challenging the same letter ye posted.
Posting on the board is actually an extra, and is no way required to challenge. It comes in last when in competition with missives to the challenged, the standings keeper, and preferably the other eight Barons. Amidst all of this I hope ye have learned something and that your future challenges go smoother.
