Lily sat at the Cafe bar, waiting for the youths to come to breakfast. She was stirring her cream into her coffee when she heard Sadie giggling and then whisper, "Hush Farris, she'll hear us."

"Hear what, Sadie?" Lily asked, her back to them.

"Umm...umm..." Sadie stammered on for a bit.

"We were just commenting on how nice you've been." Farris tried to cover for the youngin', but it didn't work against the fairy. Yet Lily decided to let it drop, afterall, they had only been here for four days now.

"Ah yes, well, in any case, how about a croissant for breakfast? hmm? ifn' that doesna suit yer pleasing, go fetch your own food." Farris and Sadie settled with croissants and milk for breakfast.

As the end of breakfast drew near, Lily rose from her seat, "Where are Darrel and Adrienne?"

"Umm..." Sadie started to stammer again as Farris shrugged at her.

"If they come up, offer them something for breakfast." With that, the pixie headed up for her apartment.

"What's with the wings, Big L?"

Her hair whipped about as her head did the same, "What?"

"The wings, what's that all about? Is it Halloween?"

Sadie giggled, but then, seeing the look upon her guardian's face she stopped.

"No. Ifn' yer too stupid to realize what I am I'll tell you."

"I'm as dumb as a doornail," Farris told her blandly. She hated his stupid sense of humor.

"I'm a fairy."

A small gasp was released from Sadie's mouth as it hung open. Farris just kept a smug look on his face, "Really now?"

"Yes."

"I don't believe you."

The fairy shrugged at the boy, "Don't, but when I take off m'wings, please don't steal them." Lily smirked and finished her way upstairs.

"Lily?"

The wee girl and the woman with wings were walking in downtown Rhydin.

"Yes, Sadie?"

"Are you really a fairy?"

"Why should I have lied to you this morning? hmm? why should I ever lie to you?"

The damsel pushed her spectacles off her nose, violet eyes twinkling, "I never met a fairy."

"Course you have, you're walking with one right now." Lily leaned over and gave the girl a hug, "Now how about we go get those dresses, hmm?"

Sadie nodded and the two continued down the street.
