"DINGALING!" went the bell as the two stepped into the dress shop.
Adrienne was waiting on a fitting stool patiently, "About time."
"Sorry Addy! Me and Momma Lily went and bought some pastries!" Sadie held up a brown paper bag as proof.
"Great, now how about we buy these clothes and get the boys, hmm?" Adrienne was not one for waiting.
"Yes, yes. Mariette?" Lily called for the seamstress.
Out came a little skinny woman with gray hair and dancing green eyes, "Oui Madmoiselle?"
"S'habiller de madmoiselles!" Lily cried to her in pitiful French. (Read: means [it could be backwards] "Dress up the misses!")
Mariette nodded and took the girls into another room. After an hour of gushing, bickering, and so forth, they had four new formal outfits for the girls.
As they exited the shop, Mariette waved and called, "Ou Reviour Mon cheres!"

"Fromage gateau-"
"Non non non!" Lily cried out to Adrienne, "It's gateau fromage! gateau fromage!"
Adrienne just shrugged, and Sadie shoved her, " French is important!" The little girl seemed as irked as Lily with the pathetic pupil.
"That's enough for today, go finish your chores ladies," Lily told them. As she watched them scurry downstairs, the fairy smiled. Just as if they were yer own, she thought to herself.
The BOOM! a loud crash rang out and she heard Darrel yelling curses. With the speed of the wind, Lily leapt downstairs. She paused and decided the crash came from Farris's room. She stormed in.
Lily saw the two boys squirming on the floor, throwing punches, pulling hair, and biting.
"STOPPIT!" she boomed at them. The lads froze. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Well um..eh...er..." Darrel stammered, sounding much like Sadie.
"We were fighting," Farris said calmly. He acted as if nothing was wrong.
"Over what?"
"A gold coin."
"A gold coin? who's is it?"
"Oh, it's mine, but Darrel insists I stole it from him, which I didn't."
"Return it to him."
"What?" Farris was in shock.
The fairy repeated herself, "Return the coin to Darrel, immediately."
With a sigh and a grumble Farris gave the coin to Darrel. Satisfied, Lily exited the room. Yet, as she left she heard Farris grumble under his breath,
"Yer gonna pay, you tartish harlot."

Lily slinked back into her house around dawn. She headed through the main rooms of the Cafe Floor and she started to ascend the steps to her penthouse.
She felt a tug on her skirt. The fairy's head craned around to see Sadie standing there, rubbing her eyes. The lass was in her nightgown and her curls were a knotty mess atop her head.
"Yes?" Lily whispered.
"Where were you all night?"
"I had to do somethings," the fairy smiled at the girl, "Go hurry back to bed." Sadie yawned and did exactly that.
Lily stepped out of her clothing and into a nightgown. Then she went back into her bed to sleep some more.
