"I hate her, I can't stand her," Adrienne stated.
"Oh, c'mon now Addy, she isna that bad..." Sadie was always sticking up for the fairy.
"Sadie, shuddup. You even sound like her..."
"Girls!" Darrel shouted, " Look, she's been very nice to us. She we receive our first payment in two weeks. She's done nothing to make us dislike her."
"Whatever," Adrienne stated, her eyes rolling.
Finally, Farris pitched in his two cents, "Darrel and Sadie are right. The big L has been especially kind to us. Now, if you will pardon me, I'd rather not listen to Addy talk behind the fairy's back." With that the lad rose and made his way upstairs to make a sandwich.

Lily looked up from her papers upon hearing Farris coming up the stairs. "Hey hun, something up?" she asked him.
"Hungry," he grunted at her.
The fairy shrugged and returned to her papers. Then out of the blue she said, "I have the strangest feeling Adrienne dislikes me."
There was a clatter in the kitchen.

Farris was gazing up at her dumbly, "Yo-...yo-...you h..h..heard us?"
Lily yanked the boy up to his feet, "Mmmm?"
"I knew it! When Addy said how much she resent you..i just-"
"Come again?" Lily finely tuned eyesbrow were knit together.
"Oh...nothing..."
The fairy shook the boy, "Tell me! Now!"
"She hates you, " whispered Farris, "She hates you with a passion."
"Lily?" Sadie asked as the five of them asat at one of the dining tables, only four eating, "Why don't you ever eat with us?"
Lily just grunted softly, her hands scratching notes on the papers in front of her at a greater speed.
"She asked you a question, Big L," Adrienne told her.
Lily then looked up, "Am I forced to answer that?" Addy nodded and Sadie shook her head.
Three winces occured a flash later. Lily had smacked the elf across the face. A tear rolled down the lass's cheek.
"What was that for?" Darrel asked.
"One other thing I won't tolerate in -my- house, disrespect."

"Did you have to slap her?" Darrel was having a hissyfit while Addy was crying.
"I won't tolerate her <censored> anymore!" They all blinked at her.
"W..w..well...I'm leaving your house! Yo..you...you need to just die Lily Lesprit! DIE!"
A slight smirk tugged at the fairy's features, "All in good time."
Two hours later they were waving Addy off, except for Lily. She was up in her room, pondering.
There was a knock at the door to the entrance of her penthouse. "Come in!" she yelled.
Sadie was soon sitting beside her, crying her eyes out, "I can't believe you did that Ms. Lesprit! It's just so...so...so WRONG!"
Lily's arms slipped around the child, bracing her, "That's child's talk, Sadie."
