Rift--
We all have our own opinions, and this is mine. This "ratty old corkboard" is the one place we duelist can express our thoughts, opinions, and feelings to the entire Duel of Swords community at once. Obviously we can't fit every person on the standings sheet into the Basement when we want to step up onto our soapboxes and preach...we can, though, tack up a note here,
however trivial, and allow people the choice to read it or not read it.
Sure, this board is for displaying issued challenges, challenge responses, and challenge results to the community...but I know it to be a hot spot for debate as well. Whenever a community-wide issue rips through the DoS, it rips over these boards as well, which is a good thing (if you're keeping score at home).
Lastly, if we didn't all put our "crud" up here, Duelists would find it more difficult to get to know one another. For example, I had no idea who you were when I saw you in the Basement, but now, after reading your "crud" on this "ratty old corkboard<FONT
COLOR="#0000ff" SIZE=3>" I know you to be a man of deep-felt emotions with a rather quick temper, who feels strongly about his issues. You see how well we get to know one another by shuffling through all this wonderful "crud"? It's amazing!

Goodbye, and after re-reading your original post, I'm confused by where you stuck up for me as an RDI. Assuming you meant being slow. . .I may not be Rogue, or Lixy, but you'll be hard pressed to find someone that can justifiably call me slow. You and your Family will be missed. As Phlag said, I've learned a bit about you from your posts here too, and I remember a young Albino, and even a proud Valheru, who were once quick to anger. In the end,
acceptance wins out. You'll be back in one form or another of this I am sure.
